Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m so frustrated with Levy and this transfer window. I’m clutching at straws now and I’m even checking out newsnow Spurs who are saying we may go for someone called Kubo 🤷🏼 Real Sociedad. He got a good appraisal from his last game and a cheaper option for Crocodile Dundee pockets Levy.
It’s the same every transfer window the last minute for him.

I doubt Manchester City will let Savinho leave prior to the game against them this weekend, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. In fact, all the signs seem to suggest he is more nailed on than Eze. Training on his own, his manager's comments, his agents flying to London. There seems to be more pointers for him, right? Still, who knows lol

v

spend like a crazy lottery winner , not our money . If ENIC goes tits up who cares . Someone would definitely buy us .

However Daniel won’t be going crazy , but hopefully he does get in 3 additions.
Whoah, there's an idea.
New DOF - Michael Carroll.
Go out and sign all the players. And have lap dancers in the stadium. Could open a gentlemans club and call it Beavertown.
And banger racing.
And for the more difficult to please, class-a with the beavertown.

There's a deal to be done here.
£60m to get him now and we pwomise we won't play him on Saturday. "slightly injured"
£70m to get him now and we play him Saturday.

I expect it's been answered somewhere earlier but I haven't got time to read it all!
If Eze plays in the conference League Thursday does that affect him playing in CL?

Trix on SC regarding MGW…not at all surprised….

“Not sure where to put this because the MGW thread is locked so the Admin Rob Rob @Archibald&Crooks may want to move this to somewhere more appropriate as it's not current transfer ITK.......

I just wanted to clarify what happened with MGW as there are a lot of incorrect rumours etc still doing the rounds and a few weeks have passed and I think it's now safe to do so.

MGW leaked his release clause, not his agent, not Spurs and not Forrest(just for old times sake). Forest knew he was looking to move and concocted a plan to do a PSR bump with Man City and McAtee where City paid well over the odds for MGW and McAtee went the other way for a lot more than the eventually bought him for. As soon as it hit the news City dropped any interest they had which wasn't much but if they could get him cheap then it could have been an easy flip for profit if it didn't work out. So now how could City pay £80mil for him when the whole world knew the release clause was £60mil?

From what I was told and shared in the lead up it to it all hitting the fan, was that MGW leaked the release clause to the media so that couldn't happen. Marinakis and Forest found out about it and threatened to tie him up in court for years like what happened with Bosman and he would have been left not playing in a world cup year in the peak of his career. This left him little choice but to sign a new deal on much better terms to make it look like a win for Forest and more importantly Mr Marinakis. It all happened incredibly fast because he was left with little option after he had completely fucked himself over. Spurs knew nothing of all of this and were as shocked as anyone when the story broke that he had signed a new deal.”

Something doesn't add 🤔 up.....Sounds like Glasner is at odds with his employers over departures and is probably digging his heels in behind the scenes otherwise why would both sides bother getting around the table when all Parrish has to say is "he's not for sale."

I love how "Pep doesn't usually stand in the way of players who want to leave" is being dressed up as ITK.

Fuck me that site is special.

Imagine being on a site where the post from a person who you’re meant to believe knows the inner working of a club starts off with “I haven’t heard anything since the inaccurate info I provided last week…” and following it up by putting heart emojis as reactions thanking him, and paying a tenner to say thank you for to all involved.

Mind boggling and just absolutely dumb as F over there.

Its worse than that. One minute they're whining we don't spend enough, the next they're penny pinching on household names.

I'm far from a Levy fanboi but fucking hell people, pick a side.
Not the same people doing both though, is it mate.

I haven’t seen one person who's been vocally critical of our squad expenditure penny pinching at household names...Not one

And there's no need to pick sides. We're all Spurs

Fuck me they aren’t even trying anymore.

That’s the biggest steaming pile of shit ever written.

City had bought Cherki and Reijnders long before MGW to Spurs ever came out as a release clause story,

Absolutely no doubt City would have been told MGW RC if they were genuinely interested but when you see how good Reijnders is for 45m, no wonder they ducked out of 60m for MGW.
