If we hadn’t spent £120m combined on Johnson Odobert and Tel for the LW maybe we wouldn’t be in this position, but we did.

The Tel transfer is legitimately one of the most nonsensical decisions in Premier League history. £40m for THAT, preventing us from signing real quality, awful.

It's easy to criticise now, but I remember people being oh so excited when we got those three. Only Tel is fair to criticise because he was a loan before we bought him.
 
Eze gets done tomorrow and Savinho doesn’t get done or gets done at the end of the month.

We will improve either way. Obviously, Savinho and Kudus on the wings with Eze at 10 would be unbelievable. Our center forwards would score a lot of goals with those three around them.

He wants that Brazil team and knows Pep is a vindictive prick who will pick Bobb, Foden and probably even Cherki over him on the right.

This is always the talking point. I just think this late on in the window we're not going to kick off any conversations over a £60m+ player. Just can't see it, but I hope I'm wrong.
