As I said, both can be true. Obviously we don't know the details, but it does seem that we were incompetent in not getting it done, but that wouldn't necessarily have been a problem if that weren't for the injury, and that bit (note the bold, same as in my original post) is just very bad luck for us. You do realise that two unconnected things can both be true, yes?

And how does that differ from anything I've said? Have I said we didn't fuck it up? No, I didn't say that - we did fuck it up, BUT that wouldn't necessarily have been a problem if not for the injury, and that bit is just very bad luck for us.
 
It's why I very rarely contribute to these threads. After years of this shit, I never really believe in these fairy tales they spin. We don't go all out and get a hot batch of PL proven beasts no matter what. That is just not Levy and never will be. He will never himself provide the 100% he expects from the managers and players unless it's made of bricks and mortar.
