The trick is to never give it large even when we’re doing well, if you don’t say much generally people won’t come for you when this happens.

Yep,agree to a large extent.

Eze could have simply said I am going to Tottemham, because they came im for me abd I like what they are offering.

He didn't do tbat and is now joining the club he probably always hoped would come in for him.

We do however need to not only move on but secure a very good alternative, who may now cost more.

While this is very disappointing, clearly Eze has a preference for our North London rivals due to his history, this is also why it's much better when deals come out of the blue so can't be hijacked. If this were reversed we would be loving it, but I feel that Parrish has been fishing for a bidding war. I don't buy all the 'Levy should have banged an extra £5m on the table' by the way, but there was clearly delays from somewhere, but I wonder if it was from Eze / CP end.
Overall a window that promised much but has been a huge let down, feeling gutted...
