Best case now is Savinho and Akliouche. We'd just get gazumped by Chelsea if we show any interest in Simons. The circa £15m we save going from Eze to Alkiouche should just go to help pay for Savinho. Its a risk, both young and fairly unproven but these are the shitty cards we've dealt ourselves. I doubt we even manage those 2 tbh.

Yes the club could have offered more and maybe that would have swayed him in our direction but it's also just as likely he's been waiting for Woolwich to come back in for him.

It's exactly like the woman who fancies some bloke you don't particularly like ,but he has already got a girlfriend.

You try to ask her out, and she continually makes excuses why she can't, although she tentatively agrees. You have a decent car and a nice gaffe, but are a little wary of going to a top top restaurant, as that's just your way.

Suddenly this other fella finds out his current girlfriend is disappearing for a few months.

Guess what, the girl who has been playing hard to get to you, is only too willing to go for a drink with your mate.

The mistake was chasing her in the first place, in the hope she would give you a chance.

You'd think Levy would feel he had little choice but to act decisively, but you know it won't happen. Simon Jordan gave an insight into Levy's approach... he comes back every five minutes with another £50,000, even when they're millions apart. It must be fucking exhausting having to deal with someone like that. If it were me, I wouldn't want to transact with Levy unless I had absolutely no alternatives.

How in the fuck did they play us?

Woolwich simply offered better terms than we did, very reasonable terms mind and terms that had we offered 2 weeks ago when Maddison got injured Eze probably would have been playing for us v PSG in the Super Cup for us.

Trying to blame ANYONE but the incompetent clowns at Spurs for this is just nonsense.

Its not just this transfer situation, this has been Levys MO ever since preparations have started for the money printing stadium. Including a transfer window without a single new player!

The entertainment venue rakes in millions and millions. The question is - where is the money going to?
