They took the piss knowing Levy's antics all too well.

His methods were always going to catch up with him

Thinks he smarter than everyone.

The thing is though I could see this happening again.

His methods are antiquated and I think his position is becoming untenable.

He's not fit to be orchestrating all of our financial negotiations between other Clubs.

It's actually hurting us.

It’s coming out now that Scum were in touch all summer so we certainly have been played, but I doubt Parish has benefited other than getting best price and one over on someone I don’t think he cares much for.

I’d certainly be having strong words with CAA Base if I were the club, as we do a lot of business with them and I believe push our young players that way.

It is hard to know who does what organizationally. The team could do their due diligence and Levy might still botch the negotiations. Levy is a smart businessman. Why he doesn't understand that he doesn't have the skills to be involved in football related matters is probably down to ego. But the negotiation skills someone has in business don't automatically transfer to football transfers and contracts. He could do himself a big favor and stay out of negotiations. But, if he hasn't figured out he's not good at it by now, he never will.
