It's not that we don't identify early. We had identified Eze two seasons back, along with Simons, Hincappie and few others. It's that for these type of players (Over 25s), our esteemed Chairman believes he has a right to a sizeable 'Levy' discount and favourable 'deposite plus 10p for year' terms. But for the like of Johnson, Gray Bergvall and 200000 other youngsters, he's happy to fork out the dough.
 
Another day has dawned time for some positivity . Officer Dibble is coming from Southampton and Levy will be Top Cat once again .

Why are we not just picking Marco Asensio up on loan straight away? Can add one of the younger 10s for the long-term too, but this guy balled out with Villa last season and has loads of CL experience.

Levy will be happy that the Eze deal fell apart, he never wanted to spend the money. Now he can do what he wanted to do all along and focus on signing players who got relegated last season and players that big clubs are desperate to get rid of. Dibling, El Khannous, Garnacho, Jackson, this is the market Levy loves to operate in.

Yep. Player desperate to join, low wages, selling club desperate too and can be bullied on terms of the deal, no other big clubs remotely interested. A buyers dream
