Savinho has been unable to fully convince Pep he's a starting 11 player and he's probably troubled to see them sign Cherki so he probably wants to go somewhere where he can be an undisputed starter.
Personally while he looked amazing right at the start of his City career (basically looked like a Mahrez regen) once he got figured out by PL teams he's looked very frustrated since that point and if we want to talk about 'tried and tested' I don't think he's that at 70m.

I think that's a fair assessment, so whilst many pour scorn on Dibling or other youngsters. Savinho is nowhere worth 70 million.
He might get a lot better but so might some of those others.

Its left so late all the time, so we'll either panick buy or end up with another potential buy.
So hopefully by the end of today we might know if savinho is a goer or at least have some kind of indication. We've got to get it done extremely fast and not let it drag on towards end of next week!
I think paz is a wonderful player but I also think people will expect far too much of him too soon.
Its not his fault spurs screwed there transfer window over and are resorting to a 20 year old that played for 10th place como last season.
He will need time to settle unfortunately, the pace of the pl is unforgiving and relentless. I said in a previous post that paz is a star no10 of the next generation and thats correct.
Having said that, getting paz and savinho through the door now would be extremely exciting. They are both players seen amoungst the scouting world as 2 players earmarked for for world class status's in the future by the time they reach mid 20's. Fast forward a couple of years and we stand ZERO chance of either player as they both cement there places in their respective national teams. They both have the ability to form a formidable partnership and grow to take our club to the top.
But as exciting as it would be, it would require some patience. I wanted the club to sign mid 20's players coming into there prime but they failed miserably on that. What they are doing now is moving to the next best option which is to get 2 of the very best from the next bracket down.
These 2 players do fit the mould of what we've been doing the last few years (gray, bergvall, udogie etc) but on steroids. People who are fans of the 'buying young and developing' like Brighton etc should be excited as these two fit that bracket but at the elite end.

Estvao is somebody savinho is competing with for his place in the brasil squad. They already have vini, rodrygo, raphinia as guarantees but after that they have Antony, martinelli, estavao, who savinho is better than but he can't show it playing a bit part role at city. He needs to play big minute to get that place and city can't guarantee that.
Estavao starting and playing a big role for chelsea forces savinho to push harder to move, or else.
