Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The common denominator in all of this is Daniel fucking Levy.

Great property developer, truly awful football chairman.

If he or ENIC had a shred of decency they’d sell and walk. We deserve owners who care about football not expanding their property portfolio.

We have been completely mugged off this summer and it is entirely Levy’s fault.
I’d more put the fault squarely at Lange’s door.

He’s employed to identify talent and realistic transfers, but it seems he’s having a mare this window. Levy is only wheeled out for the advanced negotiations per the overlap interview.

I can see Lange getting the bullet in September and replaced by Don Fabio as Technical Director.

I hope people realise this is what happens when a club finishes 17th in the league. Everyone was acting like it didn’t matter, we won a trophy blah blah blah.

Players don’t care. They want to join a team at the top end of the table. That last year and what Ange did to us in terms of the league was so so damaging and diabolical.

Players aren’t stupid. Yeah we are in the CL but players know we back doored it and aren’t actually a CL quality sides so we have little pull.

Hincapie would rather go and sit on Woolwich's bench than be a first team player with us.

Says it all
Comes down to money more. We don’t pay enough. Chelsea have had poor seasons, they could still attract players. United this summer as well

Very rare to read such honesty on a forum where accurate recall is as rare as rocking 🐎 shit...Cristian was getting dog's abuse before he left as was Dembele.
At the time, there were quite a few defending him.
He was appalling though. There were some games where having him on the pitch was literally worse than playing with 10 men. A gap on the pitch wouldn't give the ball away as easily as he did back then.

Talk of an offer for Hinchcliffe (yeah, I'm gonna spell his name wrong every time too now, entirely kn purpose)

But....

Woolwich interested in Hincapie

Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:

Woolwich are exploring a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, Sky Sports News understands.

Although Woolwich’s focus remains on departures, they are working to be in a position to act on the left-sided centre-back.

Hincapie has four years left on his Leverkusen deal and they would like to keep him, according to Sky in Germany.

However, Sky in Germany report he has decided he wants to leave and the player has a £52m (€60m) release clause in his contract.

Its official, im all aboard the BEK train.

Id just like to wholeheartedly thank Levy, vinae and lange for lowering the expectations so much that getting BEK will well and truly feel like a miracle at this point.

BEK here we come!

Savinho, Hincapie and grind it out until Kulusevski returns by sticking Odobert in the 10 role in a rotation type of way I'd be absolutely fine with. Ideally El Khannouss and just see how the kid gets on at a big club whilst our need is there.

My issue is and always has been outs. How do we find it so difficult to shift players no longer required? Unbelievable how it happens each summer.
Also, can't Bergvall play as a 10?

I don't think we are trying to offload anyone but Bissouma, and we'll find a club for him.

Jesus Christ, one of the worst CB I've seen, that can't be true.
