Yeah but they were all a bit rubbish to be fair

Maybe but the problem isn't that they need a replacement for Savio if he leaves - they need better balance defensively/midfield. But its' City so if they can get Rodrygo why not? After all they only have Marmoush, Cherki, Doku, Foden, Bobb and Rudolph reindeer...

Fuckers

Getting Akliouche would go a long way to toward making this window a success. I don't think the gap between him and Savinho is huge and he is someone we might be able to sign, as opposed to trying to pry Savinho loose from an unwilling seller. Add Mikkel Damsgaard in for the #10 position would give Spurs someone familiar with Frank's system. That would leave one more depth signing at left back. It wouldn't give us the high profile window of some other clubs, but it would give the team a boost.

I agree re Akliouche, really rate him. He’d be a lovely 10. Talk he’s holding out for Real Madrid though

I wonder if Pep is in the Jose decline phase.
yep, think his judgement is waning on players too, hes playing that little rico lewis like hes some sort of nephew and hes shit, costs them time after time, hes not a top level footballer.

they are a million miles away from the side they were 3 years ago, recruitment bar a couple has been crap.

my only worry is rodri is so good he can make a team that looks like a top 6 side which is what they look like now, into a european force.

Kota Takai is a full international in a decent national team. Is that comparable to Yang?

What I described is exactly what we did with Yang......

Where would you loan a player like that? It would have to be to a very good team, otherwise what is he going to learn?

Somewhere we can get consistent minutes and experience close to the level that we play week in week out.......

He's only 20 and whilst it's great that he has int. caps ; they're against nothing but minnows...

He's had no experience of EPL/CL level.

Lee Kang-in is a good player, much better than Bilpiss El Kuntanous
Is he an out and out 10 though?

Thought he was more of a winger that occasional plays centrally.
No, not a 10, he’s a diminutive left-footed right winger who doesn’t really have the passing chops or physicality to play centrally. He has done it occasionally but he’s not a midfielder.

That’s exactly why I’m so sure we’ll get him.

If scum manage to win title this year, just gotta hold your hands up.

They went for it.

No words, just action.
Even with all the signings, there's no guarantee of this. Their squad is getting as bloated as Chelsea's now and that comes with it's own problems. Established players will be getting the hump.

The London media, most of whom, let's be honest, are Woolwich supporters, are already acting like the title is theirs. It's not though, and imagine the shame if they don't win anything again!
