Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Woolwich have a 15 year old making his debut. Liverpool have a 16 year old scoring a winning goal tonight. Both have spent heavily. Where the hell are our youngsters, not one young player any good?
No they all have to go on loan to get minutes and most of our fan base are happy with that. All the while we are struggling for numbers and have players like Davies, tel, Wilson etc. no better than what we have sent out.

It's utterly pathetic and I've given ENIC a lot of leeway in the past. This isn't just incompetence it's actively destructive.

Yep, same for me......over time I've kinda accepted that ENIC want to keep the wage/turnover ratio low, that they prefer buying young players, that they don't want to compete for and sign the very best players on big wages

However this summer I thought they would have backed Frank much more, built on the beautiful Europa League success and feel good factor.....he is a sensible guy, I'm sure he is not demanding players who want to sign for 200-300k a week, he has a no dickhead policy so he wants good hardworking characters. We have CL on offer, we have the stadium and facilities, new manager, it was a real chance to have a real go in the summer transfer market. Kudus was a good start but after that what's happened has been truly pathetic and unacceptable. MGW was unfortunate but that's no excuse for whats happened since.

...and it's THOSE expensive players they've spent heavily on that ALLOW them to take a relative punt in a teenager! (Plus that Max Gooner kid very good by all accounts!)

WE don't have the TOP TOP drawer expensive players yet to set the Youngsters up with chances!

...anyway, our u-21 lot let a 3-1, 4-2 lead slip to Brizzle Rovers last night in the Cup to draw 4-4... There's much learning to do...

Which hopefully a season out on loan will do SOME of them SOME good!

Idk. There has to be a middle ground somewhere between pisstake loans for wasters like Danjuma and Werner and massive overpays, but I remain unconvinced the club can find it.

Actually, the majority of our best players come from that middle ground.

Didn't overpay for - Van Der Ven, Danso, Porro, Bergvall, Kulu, Bentancur, Sarr; who have shown ability beyond their price tag.

Overpay - Gray, Solanke, Richarlison

About right - Vicario, Johnson, Kudus, Madisson, Kinsky, Dragusin, Romero, Spence

On the fence - Odobert, Tel

I’d pay it tomorrow.

Fun Fact - Seymenyo was at Spurs on trial a few years back.

He seems a decent player, and at 25 is about the right age and experience to be able to hit the ground running in the first team. I doubt his salary expectations would be beyond 100k a week, and I think an offer between 40-50m would be about right for a player of his ability and contract length.

A figure of 70m would be well excessive and would put him in the top 30 EPL transfers ever - which would be entirely absurd.

So not Kinsky, Danso?

AI: 'In the summer, he was involved in the acquisitions of Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, and Min-hyeok Yang, alongside the first-team promotions of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear'
Here are some of the players Johan Lange has signed for Tottenham:

Vuskovic deal was sorted out in September 2023, before Lange was employed the following November. Lange was at the club for the others on that list but some of those dates are wrong, ie Dragusin has been at the club longer than since January 2025. IIRC it was January 2024.

Don’t you love farce
Dan’s fault I fear
I thought that you’d want what I want
Sorry my dear
Where are the clowns
Send in the clowns
Don’t bother they’re here

I literally only had to replace “my” with “ Dan”s and it’s perfect. Who knew Sondheim was a Spurs fan?

People who are upset after continual negligence window after window after window are well within their rights to be fucking upset and to vent about it, if, and how they want, you sanctimonious little prick.

Stop puffing up like your some sort of cool cunt who's dealing with Baldcunt's microcock up your arse soooo much better than everyone else.

No one's in admiration of it.

Fuck do you think you are???

People will rage if they want to and are absolutely entitled to - spending thousands on this fucking club to be treated like plebs by that fucking conman fraud.

Don't you dare tell people they can't be enraged, or try and belittle their emotions.

How fucking dare you.

Oh dear

Yep, we still have the 70 mill which we offered for Guehi in Jan and was then offered for Zabarnyi this summer

ANd of course the 60 mill which was rejected for MGW

Thats 130 mill available for the Jan window :levywhoa::levyhands::levylol:
We could have easily had s 300m window like the other top 6 clubs but we dropped the ball. Levy failed to close out the big deals and Lange hasn't progressed any back up plans. It was a circus. Pure imcompency all Summer.

Amazed that anyone on here isn't pissed off with how this window went!

He's played enough that he should've shown flashes at least. Odobert has shown glimpses of being a good player, needs to do it more regularly, but this guy had a half season, got significant minutes, was dreadful, beyond dreadful even, and then cost the guts of £40m!!

This is the issue. Not you wet wipes getting upset that we all hate him. We don't, I don't give a shit about him he's a player like Gil that will be bounced around forever and gone on a free. That's what I take issue with.

It's not just me, it's everyone that seemingly isn't a Levy cuck. It was a terrible use of resources and signing him has made us absolutely no better. We need players for now, not players for the future, or at least of they're for the future, be able to play football, because so far, this guy has been a non-factor.

Wet wipe, levy cuck.... more pathetic attempts at deflection rather than backing up what youre saying with anything.

All because I dont think youre qualified to judge a players quality and potential after watching them play a handful of minutes in a terrible team that everyone looked shit it.
