Levy's methods are out of date and are actively harming our club, how anyone can argue against that is beyond me.
Calling us clowns? Oh the fucking irony.
Who called you a clown?

Think said Dudu is doing his usual and trying to start a c@nt off in the hope of getting someone carded. Not being funny, but why did you feel the need to post this.
You know, like.. what was the actual point?
There's no point arguing with this dude. The club can do absolutely nothing wrong. That's it.I think you’re being quite naive; if there’s a lesson to be learned from the Pochettino years, it’s that standing still in this game means that automatically you are going backwards.
Also we’ve had 24 years of this and now I think Levy is actively harming us - it’s quite clear that a number of his peers love getting one over on him (and by extension us), and he has brought this on himself.
Once the strains of a 2 game a week schedule kick in, I’m pretty sure that we’ll run into some pretty familiar problems.
As far as I’m concerned, any positive results are in spite of Levy, not because of him.
Levy was very good up until 2018. He’s been horrible since then for a multitude of reasons.
I will always give him credit for building the infrastructure up, so we have a base to compete from - Sugar decimated us in the 90s.
However how long is he supposed to dine out on that goodwill?
He has managed the football operation appallingly for 7 years now. If you can’t see that, then well…
There's a lifelong gooner in my indoor footie team. He always talks about Levy in glowing terms. Exactly in the same way dududu do. Always reminds of him when the topic comes up.Think said Dudu is doing his usual and trying to start a c@nt off in the hope of getting someone carded.

The main thing is that since about 2018ish it's got a lot more expensive to play this game, and Levy is a rich man on paper, but it's all tied up in Tottenham. It will feel like spending "his" money, because it is. And it's also true that for every high cost/high wage PL player, there is a low cost/much lower wage player who turns out to be just as good.ok, so not everything in spite then.
The last 6-7 years have been a mess - there is no doubt.
It was great to get Kane from the academy, the likes of Dele, Walker, Eriksen, etc on the relative cheap. Levy always seems to be attempting to repeat these feats, not really understanding that they are the exception, not the rule. The main thing is that since about 2018ish it's got a lot more expensive to play this game, and Levy is a rich man on paper, but it's all tied up in Tottenham. FWIW I think if Levy could just have backed Frank a bit more, and continue to back him over the next couple of years, he might well find his asset value increases by much more than the outlay
Fair points. From the outside it just looks like:Whether Levy has backed Frank cannot be accurately defined until next Tuesday. However I do think he has tried but for various reasons up to now has failed on too many occasions re transfers. . When a Manager fails he goes and Levy should go for his failures. Now as a substantial shareholder it might not be possible to go completely but someone else should be in charge of the running of the Football club. Chairmen are normally just a figurehead with the CEO running the business. Lewis's Son & daughter both have a prominent position in ENIC and probably outrank Levy and could have the final say with Venkatesham as CEO running it.
Some people are just natural simps to power/authority.There's no point arguing with this dude. The club can do absolutely nothing wrong. That's it.
When the new stadium opened, I remember Levy on the big screen, getting cheered (!) and he was talking about being a responsible custodian of the club, and that he would step away if he wasn’t seen to be acting responsibly anymore.ok, so not everything in spite then.

But what else is he gonna spend his money on?The main thing is that since about 2018ish it's got a lot more expensive to play this game, and Levy is a rich man on paper, but it's all tied up in Tottenham. I completely agree with you. When it all washes through, Levy will walk away a very rich man who has made everything he owns out of THFC. The question is whether he is pushing the financing of transfers and wages as far as it can within the constraints we have. Simon Jordon will rant and rave about banking covenants without any detail, but I very much doubt that Levy has maxed out the club's credit card so to speak, as when he comes to sell it cash and debt free, it's all coming off his interest. Imagine Levy ultimately walks away with only a modest return as he genuinely had ploughed it all back into Spurs? I don't think so.But what else is he gonna spend his money on?
We'd all LOVE to have enough money to actually SPEND on making OUR TEAM better than everyone else....
But we're not in a position to do that... But HE IS!
Jack Walker, bless him, spent millions of his OWN money that he'd earned in his lifetime with the sole intention of making Blackburn the greatest club in England!
Whilst that prophecy didn't exactly come true for long, the League title was nice while it lasted.... But the point is, as a wealthy FAN, he WAS in a position to invest heavily in HIS CLUB, and it bore fruit.
Levy just uses HIS CLUB to make HIMSELF richer!
Slightly different perspective!
it was a bit soft yes, though he still made Levy look like a deluded egghead. Not hard.Just to add - Gary Neville absolutely needs a thump for giving Levy that softball interview.
The cheek to say deals are hard - he makes them harder compared to his peers. The stadium still doesn’t have a sponsor either.
I would imagine the same reason you repeat yourself so much. Not being funny, but why did you feel the need to post this.

Maybe we dont have the cash... having the PSR headroom is one thing but having the cash to take advantage is another.Fair points. From the outside it just looks like:
a) he made a currying-favour mistake with Tel (which was big money) ... admittedly we don't know of any linkages to Palhinha deal etc.
b) he didn't go in with enough cash for Eze, MGW, or Savinho and in large part ultimately has none of them as he's tried to save a few 10s of millions (see point (a))
Levy did say that we could only spend what we’ve got. And we have a massive transfer debt, as our net spend has been so high since the new stadium. My point in that would be that our net spend would be less, if we planned our windows appropriately, but don’t seem to, had someone more talented in charge of selling unwanted players and didn’t change managers every two seasons.Maybe we dont have the cash... having the PSR headroom is one thing but having the cash to take advantage is another.
It doesn't need one.
