I agree. Credit where it is due. We needed 4 first team players and a proper coaching team. We got 3 and a proper coaching team. It's still very good. I don't really buy the "need a LB" and "need a CB" stuff. We have three players who can play left back. We have 6 or 7 players (even with Vusko gone) who can play CB.
 
Just been catching up with all the developments. So happy we are signing Xavi Simons, and really good news to hear we still think we can do the Savinho deal. If not, Lookman would be a good signing I think.

If all goes to plan, our team is looking really strong for this season

The point I'm making is how poor the recruitment is if we actually do this. It might be that you're right, that his current ability merits loaning him! Appalling for a £38m buy.

It'll take a decade for him to repair the damage he's done to the fanbase.
1 good, if unspectacular, window doesn't fix it.

This is the biggest signing this club has made since possibly Klinsmann. Rafa was incredible but his career was on the opposite trajectory. Simons is like signing him when Real did. Above MGW and Eze, this is the best 10 we could possibly have signed this summer.
