got it so wrong today, has to take part of the blame today, yes hes not working with great options, but the midfield was all wrong, johnson on the left again in a game when you need more football ability is a poor move.

really dont get why managers like bentancur, hes a plodder who offers fuck all.

Pathetic. Beating City was all for nothing. Just did Woolwich a big favour.

Losers. They just don't get it. Fuck off on your international break and forget all about us. Same story every time. Wankers.

Nah, his work begins now. All of you that thought he would have fixed things up after two games haven't been paying attention. The new manager bounce is over, the performance was awful, now it's time for the coaching staff to assess and react.

Don't know why he didn't give Kudus at the centre a go as the match progressed and it became evident that we were struggling to move the ball up the pitch. We couldn't even string three passes together for the most of the game, and Kudus himself made things happen when the ball actually found its way to him. Seemed like an obvious gamble to me.

We were eventually going to play against a team that'd press us to death. A midfield trio where Bentancur is by far the most creative of the three was always going to struggle in such a context, there's no hindsight involved here.

But then the far bigger issue is obviously this weak as piss bench. Will be a long season unless at least one of Odobert and Tel becomes a significant contributor.

Biggest loser today was Frank imo. He failed to adapt and couldn't beat their press.

I'd have like to see Johnson come off for Danso at HT. Giving us a back three with Spence and Porro out wide to open up passing channels with Bergvall coming in for Pahlinha to help us play through the middle.

That would have forced Bournemouth to either have to commit more players to the press, creating gaps or force them to change tactics, giving us more time on the ball higher up the pitch.

But for some reason we just made personnel changes expecting Bournemouth to change? Weird game.

First blip, and one of many to come in this season of transition.

It will be an interesting listen as to how he saw today and what he will do next time round. Might not work, but it's important to not see that again, without something to address the concerns.

Have to call at as it is - Frank got it badly wrong today.
Wrong team selection, wrong tactics and failed to adjust anything at HT.

Not helped by the lack of quality in the squad though.

Probably should have started Bergvall, but can’t blame him for much else.

Needs time to get his ideas across and the effort of the players today was absolutely dismal.

Get him one more big time attacking addition to go with Simons, to give him a proper chance.

For the last 15 years we have always had that player to carry the team on days like this. Bale, Kane and Son mainly. No one remotely like that in this team. I'm a bit worried to be honest.
