Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Johnson is not a poacher, he plays on the wings, and when he doesn't score, offers feck all.

It's mental gymnastics to justify his lazy assed bs.

People are just living in denial to think otherwise.

The club are not going to drop or sell our seventeen a season goalscorer. He has two in three this season.

Learn to deal with it.

Solanke and Richy scored twenty one goals between them last season, and Son has gone.

Think about that.

I disagree.

Brennan has assisted several goals with low crosses from the right byline.

He also scores goals from central positions and off the right during counter attacks.
Brennan had an ineffective game, but the bigger issue was Richarlison, he won one duel with his marker and never held the ball up there. We didn't play well but Bournemouth really did their homework yesterday.

That presumes Frank could see that, or that he looked at Grealish, and thought 3 - 5 games...

I think Grealish is like a Le Tissier. Very good players, but possibly need to stay in a relatively small pond, and be the man. Not sure it would have worked with us, but I dp think he offers something we dont have.

I think you are overestimating what we are right now. We are not at a Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Woolwich level, not small pond either but somewhere in between

He would have fitted in perfectly, a kind of maverick that has always thrived at Spurs

Where is that please? (I'm in Poland at the moment with sketchy internet and no access to betting sites due to location).

Betting odds merely reflect the amount of money placed - so just means lots of Spurs fans would quite like rogers at Spurs

It does not mean Rogers is actually likely to join Spurs any more than if a poll was put up on TFC saying would you like to see rogers at Spurs and lots of tfc voted yes.

3 assists last season in the PL...

Draw dropping amount of assists, top draw stuff that is.

The amount of mental gymnastics and denial going on is off the charts.

Not you personally, just in general.
Goal scorers are thin on the ground.

Brennan scores goals.

He also got 10 assists in Ange's first season; 23 / 24.

He's capable of scoring and assisting.

Last season he was more selfish and direct. He scored more goals as a result.

Brennan isn't easy on the eye or skillful in a tricky way like Odebert and Kudus.

He's still important to Spurs though.

In my opinion.

I think you see no flaws in Grealish, and somewhat underestimate how big a club we are.

The number of players who struggle with the demand should show you that, not that Grealish would have been a worry in that regard.

As I said however, I think on balance, Grealish might have been.a good, short-term option.

Let's see how long he stays above the waterline with Everton, which isn't just a matter of on-pitch activity. Made a good start.

Of course Grealish has flaws

He wouldn't have struggled with the demands here. He is an entertainer and we as fans love entertainers

Whilst recognising how betting odds are constructed, I think you are drastically over-simplifying there. If you look at odds movements on pretty much anything, there is usually some kind of correlation. For example, Liverpool, City and Woolwich presumably started the season with the shortest odds of winning the title - are you saying that this doesn't indicate they are likely to challenge for the title? And that the odds are only short because they have so many fans who always to believe they will win the prem. Of course not - it indicates that people genuinely think it's likely they will.

That aside, I would be interested to see where JT is seeing those odds, as if it's somewhere I could lay them, I almost certainly would - then if we get the player I'll be happy, and if we don't then at least I'll make a few quid. Therefore the question to Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive remains - where are you seeing those odds please? 🙂
