Simons in perception will not be as good as in reality, and I think people need to be really cautious of unrestrained expectation.
Very few players find the PL a walk in the park, even if their stock is high upon arrival.
Frank has to find a way to ensureSimons does not feel as thoigh he has to do it all.
Look back to our best under Pochettino, and the load was shared, with all our front 4 players having their moments of excellence, topped-off by Kane.
That and the full time whistleWatching Xavi on the pitch was a great moment best feeling of the day lol
Agree, will completely show up the lazy and anonymous BJI think the opposite mate.
Most people will be expecting a fancy Dan, all frills player who does nice skill but drifts in and out of games.
TBH that’s exactly what Eze would have been.
IMO Simons will surprise people with his work rate and determination from the first game. He’s a tenacious little pitbull type who will put a boot in much more often than people are expecting and then have the quality to do something wow when we need it.
Sameway Kudus work rate caught people off guard, that’s what I’m expecting with Simons. The game breaking carries and final action stuff will come but i agree the relentless speed of the prem will take some adjusting to

He’s a man of many talents.
No he’s primarily going to play centrally.
At Leipzig he might start wide left, but they’d have him drift inside with the LB/LWB providing the width. He wants to be inside left, much like Madders tends to do.
