Peter Charrington is the new Chairman
Yes, but Vinai is the Chief Executive.

Levy had a unique centralization of power into his dual role, but to the extent someone is taking on the role of day-to-day shot caller, should the manager be sacked, should we bid bigger for this player, what's the season ticket price increase next year, etc, that's Vinai.

But then selling the club becomes a question that's more in Charrington's department, though just like with Levy, it's fundamentally Lewis' call, even despite the trust situation.

Something like stadium naming rights perhaps is a blend of the two.

I think the club will be sold
At the very least a barrier to the sale of the club has been removed.

Levy: "We have built this club into a global heavyweight competing at the highest level. More than that, we have built a community."

Fuck me - I didn't realise Spurs didn't exist as a community before Levy. You live & learn.

Maybe an expert in corporate governance here could explain what Charrington is going to do as a Non-Executive Chairman.

Does this mean effective executive leadership passes to Venkatesham?

Who will represent Levy's shareholding on the board?

And is this the first time in a very long period that we don't have a Spurs supporter in charge of the club?
