Strange tellme used to say just the same, also Palhinha is not interchangeable.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Vicario
Porro . . .Romero . . . van de Ven . . . Spence
. . . . Sarr . . . . Bergvall . . . . Palhinha . . .
. . . . . Kudus . . . . . Tel . . . . . Xavi
This, surely. Sarr, Bergvall and Palhinha are all interchangeable. And Frank sees Tel and Xavi as interchangeable too. Tel is a big surprise.
Porro and Romero are liabilities in my opinion.
Doesn't Tel know Xavi from before?
Hopefully tactical mastermind coming boys)
Looking at the line up, Tel is the CF?
Richarlison on bench.
Weird
Test of Frank's much vaunted man management skillsPersonally I think it's the wrong match to start a guy whose confidence is absolutely shot
Really? He was confident enough to hit a really difficult volley that was the closest we came to scoring in the last match.Personally I think it's the wrong match to start a guy whose confidence is absolutely shot
I wouldn't describe that as giving him a chance. I don't think that is how top managers think. And I also don't think that this is a sort of a game in which Tel is given "a chance." And giving him a chance implies he will either take it or not take it. Which is very false.Yup, plus he is not registered on CL so Frank is giving him chance.
After his performance for France U-21s I would hope he's feeling more confident. I get the criticism and concerns but I do think it's premature.Personally I think it's the wrong match to start a guy whose confidence is absolutely shot

I didn't think Tel had passed Richarlison in the pecking order.

Yes, that makes the most sense. But I think that Sarr and Bergvall can assume that position too. Neither of them is a designated sort of a midfielder playing on one or the other side. Sarr is kinda a pretty universal kinda player.Palh is the pivot and Bergvall and Sarr will work the flanks around him.
Tel is actually a centre forward and he scored his goals coming off the bench at Bayern as CF... So fingers crossedNot sure why he's chucked tel upfront, he always looks uncomfortable there . Put him on the left, xavi in the middle, give a half each to kolo and Richie
