Match Spurs v Bodo/Glimt (A) - Champions League - Tues 30th Sept - KO: 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

... and the one English player probably won't start on Tuesday. I am guessing it is Porro and Udogie as full backs.
To be fair we’re also restricted here with Solanke and Maddison being injured.

I’m not sure who it matters to either, England are producing some of the best young players in the world these days and the ones that come through the big clubs are becoming elite. I certainly wouldn’t swap squads with the Norwegians and I’d argue only Spain and France are in our league when it comes to producing top drawer young players these days.

Interestingly the FA is still evolving the youth path further, grass roots U6 next season start with 3 v 3 matches rather than 5 v 5 to ensure everyone gets more touches of the ball.

Bodo/Glimt have a strong home record and we were somewhat fortunate last season (not taking anything away from us or Ange) that we got them in the home game with 3 of their best players missing, they then had to chase that second leg at their place whereas we could sit back and frustrate them.

A draw here would be a decent result and hopefully we avoid injuries.

I would give Kudus a rest and start BJ, with Xavi moving back to the left and Bergvall playing 10.

So likely that we won't see Solanke or RKM until after the international break at the earliest.

At some point we need to get honest answers from the club on the health of our players. In no other sport does this obfuscation continually happen.

Yeah, Brennan absolutely deserves tô start after his Wolves cameo!

Presser this afternoon presumably?

Please give the news with Dom or RKM can play a half
Solanke: Speaking on Friday, Frank insisted it was not a "big" injury and that it was not ligament damage, but admitted Spurs had struggled to get to the bottom of the problem.

Translation: Fuck knows what wrong with him.

Muani: "It is one of those where sometimes they can take a week or other times they can take a couple of weeks because it's started to bleed again unfortunately," Frank said on Friday.

WTF? Bleeding? Again? That's one bad dead leg.

FFS, what a pair.

Confidence sapped after Saturday night.

WE SHOULD DO EM, WE GOT A GOOD DRAW ETC but…

Will take a point and run home before the cold sets in TBH.

We will miss the strength of Dom/RKM.

1-1

:davieshmm:
Nah bollocks, we beat them twice quite comfortably last season when form had hit rock bottom, assuming the weather hasn't gone full ice age yet then we should be disappointed with anything less than 3 points here.

Without Solanke and RKM (again) I’m quite worried about our capacity to create chances and score goals. Richy has been poor or late.

Xavi has to be in the middle with palhinha behind him with Sarr or Berg.

Odobert left please. Get some confidence into the lad

Solanke was just a knock and expected back after the last international break and yet still nothing.

He's in the Champions League squad so you'd like to think that he's imminent in his return otherwise we may as just as well put Tel in the squad instead.
