Match AS Monaco vs Tottenham Hotspur. Wednesday the 22nd of October 2025 UCL

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

My advice would be to not focus on clubs like scum, toon winning tonight and reflect our game off of that tomorrow.

They are waaaaay down the road of being properly developed, balanced squads with stable management.

We just need to focus on ourselves.

Losing Romero and Udogie is bad anyway but it is a profound loss to our attack.
Udogie bombing forward and linking with Odobert and Xavi was starting to look good, and Romero's passing is vital given our midfield selection usually doesn't give us much forward passing. This is fucking awful if they are out for long 😭 given our attack is struggling to gel.

Is Gray ready to start instead of Bentancur? I would quite like that if possible.
Not sure Muani can start yet, so Richy probably up top then. He has to shake off this pissy pants look he has had the last few matches ffs. Getting bullied a lot. He should be doing the bullying, when he plays with more fire he is very decent but he has seemed to have a bad attitude lately. We need you to perform like we know you can Richy.

I think Xavi will have a better game, he is still getting used to PL, and Leeds are not PL in the same way Villa are. Different levels, he needs to elevate and cope with it. But this match we hopefully will see him pulling the strings a bit. He was brilliant against Brighton looked so menacing... Need him to find that level consistently🙏🏼

Think we have enough to win this... Probably not gonna be too pretty. Like a weather forecast it will be mostly dry with intermittent showers (of good play).
Our good away form to continue 1-2 Spurs.

Good post. Fuck them bitches. Let's just focus on ourselves.

(Ok we can laugh at west ham though - bunch of useless inbreds)

So being as Udogie was the only rotational Full back, are we going to see how long we can Flog Spence and Porro before one of them gets injured, we are literally a couple of Injures away from Having Gray back at CB not sure who fills in at Full back if one of Spence or Porro get a knock, however knowing us we will find out very soon.......

I am reliably informed that Emerson Royal, Ben Davies, Gray and Dragusin playing at CB was never a problem and our poor defense is only to be blamed on the coaches.

So, if Frank is forced to play Gray at CB and Sarr at left back - He'd better fucking win or he's for the sack!

Also, not winning it would not be a surprise.

Even more injuries (though it's good Kolo back).

And they're no mugs and came back against City a couple times to draw, so have got some grit and sting in them.

Last 5 games across all comps:

Not getting ahead of this game.

As things stand, probably evenly balanced.

Just hoping it ends up being an 'up' point.

Yeah I agree. We could well lose which would suit some who are already impatiently building a narrative.

100%.

Less Newcsstle, who we are not too far behind with a full squad but we are so far behind that lot that it is painful.

Things can change quickly but right now it's about perspective.

Ignore those who prefer to see their narrative bolstered over us winning,or getting a result. I think we lose tonight and Sunday.

What Frank must do however is show that he is capable of building something.

Part of that will be ensuring players who arent part of his plans simply don't play, regardless of circumstance.

The next is a body of play that demonstrates a possibility of delivering. It is still very much 50:50 whether Frank can do that.

Romero and Udogie big losses. Udogie out means we can't rotate full backs and also means we can't play Simons on the left (unless Frank has learnt nothing!).

This is the type of fixture that I think the new Spurs under Frank can actually do ok in. We'll sit deep and weather the early pressure and probably grow into the game in the second half. So for me it makes sense to bench simons and introduce him in the second half when we should be the team in the ascendancy. 0-0 or 1-1 are probably realistic predictions but I'd be hoping we can get a win here if we can weather their early storm. We know Frank isn't going to go there and try to play them off the park so his approach for this game should actually work imo. I think this is mainly why our away form is so impressive, its all down to Frank's approach and thankfully we don't have another home game until Chelsea in November.

I'd 100% start Sarr and Bergvall here and I'm happy to persist with Odobert at left wing. Simons can't play there with Spence behind him as neither are left footed so we end up with no proper width and both them coming inside. It just doesn't work and I hope Frank has learnt this. I see no reason to drop Odobert for Johnson unless Frank deems Odobert needs a rest. I also see little risk in trying RKM over Richarlison who's just gone completely off the boil. Lets start RKM and see what he's about. If he's rubbish then Richarlison can come on at half time.

Vicario
Porro Danso VDV Spence
Bergvall Palhinha Sarr
Kudus Muani Odobert
