Boring the living shite out of me, but we are third, so can’t really complain too much.

I must admit I love a dirty, ugly away win in the Pl at a tough ground like Everton away.

It's really satisfying. You're not going to those grounds to play pretty Football and play them off the park most of the time.

The set up for away from home is yielding title winning form.

Now let's get the home form improved. Then we're cooking.

Frank needs players back to enable us to let the handbrake off a bit more.

Also need home fans to put down the prawn and rocket sandwiches and get into the atmosphere like the away fans dutifully do.

Just bring 50% of what the away fans bring and the stadium would be rocking.

Yes was going to say just that.

No better time to reignite that atmosphere against Chelsea at home.

If a large part of the crowd can't get up for that against Chelsea who we owe desperately, and at 5 30 on Saturday evening when the beer will be flowing...well they never will.

I can't make it, but I've been to the last two Chelsea home games so don't want to scud it lol

Great 3 points on the road again. We just need to keep the ball better so wasteful. That will enable us to control games better and reduce number of chances against us. If can improve that aspect while we wait for injured players to return. Newbies settled in and may be some new faces in Jan then we should be in good shape. Hopefully by then we can start to create good chances from open play.

Exactly. I was more bored losing 22 matches last season (and the ones the season before) under Ange than this. Was an utter waste of time, money and emotion.

It is worth noting, as I have said a few times recently, premier league football on the whole isn’t as entertaining as it was. Only the Brentford game was decent this weekend for example. All the others were a bit of a grind. I blame VAR and Legohead.
I get the feeling that this is the result of the ever expanding football calendar. Managers are adopting a slower, more grindy approach just to not run their players into the ground.

Ange’s chaos ball was entertaining initially, but it quickly proved unsustainable. With half the team sidelined by injuries, and those players failing to return to their previous form - it ultimately became suicideball.

With Frank, we have stabilised our defence and somehow still scoring goals without several key players (currently joint top with City and Chelsea) and experiencing fewer injuries. It’s a more sustainable approach, particularly given the limitations of an otherwise average squad.

In conclusion: Frank out.
Certainly stabilised the defence. First choice back five generally available (with a couple of exceptions) and playing two holding DMs, I’d expect that. Scoring as many as we are? Obviously pretty reliant on set pieces, but seems to be the general trend in the league right now.

Highest scorers in the league. Joint 2nd leanest defence. 3rd place 1.88ppg.
Madison, Kulu, Romero, Solanke, Dragusin all to come back. RKM and Xavi still to settle in.

And there's still people complaining.
After last season.
When we were single digit points off relegation.
I'm surprised so many are surprised by this....forums whether they are sports or motor orientated thrive on discussing bad experiences i.e. fings going wrong with their teams or faults occurring with their vehicles.

Sure there is some exchange over the positive aspects but nowhere near that which follows the negative events....human nature innit.

Like I said a couple of days ago, people were exaggerating our bad performances this season and hilariously trying to make out that it was similar to Ange.

Our performances under Ange were absolutely horrendous beyond belief. We lost games, deserved to lose games and didn't create a single proper chance in a majority of them whilst letting the opposition cut through us with absolute ease.

Franks comments about a bad game against Bournemouth and bad halves Vs wolves and monaco were pretty spot on but people claimed he was gaslighting. Of course we are not perfect but if you can't see how much we have already improved under him then I don't really know what to say.

The play has been to attempt to reduce Frank -- praying for him to fail (you know, because they're such good fans) -- to the point where they can then say, "See, look, we should have just stuck with Ange!!".

This is what all this has been about.

Odious.

When performance stinks and noises were loud, critics were deemed not giving enough time to Frank.

Yet critics also cannot be allowed to give Frank more matches to show more of such victories like today is not an one-off, logically by being quiet because there's nothing to criticise, but the Frank defenders want some praises immediately. Hilarious to say the least.

Frank critics are being called knee jerks. Lol. Knee jerkers can work both ways.

My point being, both sides can be right. Facts are facts. But for some to constantly dig another camp out seemingly just to prove a 'told ya' is pathetic.

And for the matter, match threads have all the good comments already. It's only logical to have more in depth discussion, especially after a poor performance, to be debated more in the manager's or player's thread. What's so hard to understand?
This post for a start....

It all reeks of sour grapes from people who were Ange backers to the hilt and cannot accept Frank has given us much needed stability/spine/organisation.

It’s not perfect (you wouldn’t expect it to be yet) but it’s a drastic improvement over last season. An adult is leading us.
