Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United. Saturday, Nov 8th, 12:30pm. English Premier League.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This is a big game for us I think- a chance to build on Thomas' more progressive setup this past time out against Copenhagen, and also a chance to stop United's bright start and send them into a tailspin.

I think Thomas' best bet is to play the same setup as last time out, only with the best players available rather than any rotation.

Give PP a rest and let Spence setup to play defense. We should try to play as big as possible while trying to also play our best attack. Simons is obviously not that big so we help him out by trying to match size elsewhere that we can. Its obvious he is capable of great quality on the ball though if he is afforded enough time and space.

They have a lot of (bought) quality from their spending spree this summer. They are on a hot streak lately. This is going to be a tough game. I can see it ending 2-2, or maybe 2-1 or 3-2 to us if we play our best ball.

Big game at this stage of the season.

Win and we hang around top 4, lose and we could drop to 9th or 10th.

I'll be disappointed if he goes with Palinha and Bentancur together again. They are both decent players but we aren't very attacking when they play together.

I was worried if they beat Forest, leaving them only us to beat until that bloke can cut his hair.

Now that possibility is off the table, I feel more relaxed about this game.. although it is a tricky one seeing as they are finding some form.

After losing to us 4 times and conceding the EL too, you'd expect them to be fired up.

It's extremely important we are too, and start fast. An early goal or 2 could shake them

I think Bentancur starts all day long if be brings similar levels to that of last night.

I know Copenhagen weren't up to much but there's no doubt our tempo was much better and a big part of that was Bentancur.

I'd keep Palinhna on the bench, and hope we can start pretty fast again.

We have so many jinxes, mostly losing to certain teams all the time but are we now MU’s jinx team after a good run. I hope so. However we have to get rid of that jinx of losing the game before the International break. We did it last time and 2 consecutive wins would go some way to rid us of that unwanted jinx. Add that to our poor home record although I do not rate that as a jinx yet.
MU will be much harder than Copenhagen. Despite all the dominance in the 1st half yesterday we were only a goal up at half time. It was the 2nd half where we excelled and we need more of that. I would only make 2 changes Palhinha for Bentancur, we cannot play both again at home and hopefully Kudus is fit to take Johnson’s place.
Some of our attacking players had good matches and hopefully have more confidence now, Muani, Simmons & Odebert. We need a win with the table so close and a draw would not be a good result. I go into the match quietly confident but wary of another pre international break disaster.

I'd play Bentacur who is better at progressing the ball. .when he decides he wants to.

Unless we're going to sit back and hit United on the counter.

Palhinha has four goals this season now, I’d be tempted to start him over Bentancur against United.

Sarr must start, I thought his energy was superb last night.

Kudus on the right for BJ and we’re set.

I fancy us to get a scruffy win

I would actually start Kudus on the left for this one. We need his ball carries and I do not think they will decrease if played on the left. In addition to that, we need him to deliver the ball into the box without the cut back as that would be absolutely pivotal in Muani being an effective goal threat. Johnson has United's number.

Porro/Spence---Romero----VDV-----------Udogie
----------Palhinha/Bentancur--Sarr---------------

A really tough game awaits.

Got to use the game yesterday as a springboard to better league form at our place.

Think it will be very hard but let's burst Amorim's bubble, although United have all the incentive in the world to beat us.

man united's biggest issue is the same as last season, their dead midfield doesn't like to run up and down the pitch.

must not play a combo of bentancur and palhinha who will both sit, absolutely needs pape in their.

Kudus is absolutely horrible on the left, you saw him against Wolves didn't you?
