Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United. Saturday, Nov 8th, 12:30pm. English Premier League.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This is a big game for us I think- a chance to build on Thomas' more progressive setup this past time out against Copenhagen, and also a chance to stop United's bright start and send them into a tailspin.

I think Thomas' best bet is to play the same setup as last time out, only with the best players available rather than any rotation.

They have a lot of (bought) quality from their spending spree this summer. They are on a hot streak lately. This is going to be a tough game. I can see it ending 2-2, or maybe 2-1 or 3-2 to us if we play our best ball.
This. 100%

We flogged him and you could see his form flat line. Horrible management and worse squad building.

Or maybe he simply flatlined to his level.

I don't think Kudus is the spark or inspiration we have been acquainted to over the years, and genuinely think his best role for us would be a super sub.

It won't happen but neither will Kudus be that special player as some believe.

I might be completely wrong, but a bit of time on the bench fit or not, it might be a good thing for the benefit of the team.

I think he starts Pauli and Bent pivot of doom tbh. Sarr's passing was atrocious in the week though he put himself about plenty and brought energy. He would be good energy off the bench again.
No Bergvall or Gray. Ordinarily I would never start Johnson but with his goal the other night and the chance to break behind against a shite defence who give away space and chances galore he is a better option than Tel if Kudus isn't fit.

I fancy Muani to shine in this one. Very good signs of what he can do the last couple of games.

Vic
Porro Rom VDV Udogie
Pauli Bents
Johnson Xavi Odo
Muani

Utter nonsense. Please don't post on here again

Not really, no. He's been easily one of our best players this season and our attack is generally shite without him.

There is no question mark at all.

And I respectfully disagree.

Let's see how we go but Kudus absolutely lacks the composure or the ability to find crucial passes.

He might be considered our brightest attacking player but how many goals has he scored and how many goals has he created?

Shut up.

You are an adult or masquerading as one I presume

Disagree with what someone posts by all means but deary me.

I don't have to post to suit you or anyone. I am not dismissing Kudus as opposed to saying I don't rate hin as highly as others.

I said all this before we signed him. His numbers don't demand that I am incorrect as yet.

He is nowhere near top bracket in my opinion.

Since the winger issue is being compounded by Kudus' absence, I'd gladly go with a back 3 for this:

Vicario
Danso-Romero-VdV
Porro-Palhinha-Sarr-Udogie
Simons
Johnson-RKM

Romero in a libero role to prevent this from becoming the dreaded back 5, and giving Johnson free rein to roam in between the lines in case he nicks one somehow.

A back 4+ double pivot + Johnson and Odobert out wide could be very ugly again, not different from the Chelsea game.

Well your opinion is wrong. Imagine slagging off one of our best players like this. He's the only one providing spark up front for fuck sake! The kind of player we should be wanting to have at our club!!!

Your are incorrect so zip it.

That's more reasonable

I will however say it as I see it.

Mind you Kudus has just rung me to say that he is deeply offended by what I wrote and is taking out a court order for libel. Sh!t.

He isn't but he's our best attacker so asking him to be a super sub for a team with sub par forwards is kinda ass backwards.
