Match PSG v Tottenham Hotspur Wednesday 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

OK so how will Frank line up here?

Same as before or does he mix it up lol

Our schedule is brutal coming up. Frank needs to rotate at some point as we are looking at 6 games in 3 weeks, but its hard to see where he can safely do so, especially now that he decided to play back 5 and Palinha-Benta double pivot again- it's really like blowing alot of tactical options for rotation all at once- unless he's planning to cravenly throw games or something...

We should turn to a more youthful and aggressive central midfield to try the press them hard and disrupt their game. Hit on the counter. Static double pivot bullshit will get absolutely eaten alive by Vitinha and co- that's what they do.

-Tel sadly is not registered for this game.
-I wish we could start Gray somewhere but it's probably not possible or advisable- especially as he has gotten so little game time recently.

This sets up Thomas to play the following v Fulham

Richy
Odo-Xavi-Kudus
(Berg/Sarr?)-Benta
Djed-VdV-Rom-PP
Vic

-The commitment to the Benta-Palh double pivot, as well as the tendency to start Palhinha every game is leading to a situation where our CM rotation is practically non-existent, and not to any seemingly good effect either. I actually hope Bentancur gets re-injured or a multi-game suspension at this point- might be the only thing that could force stubborn Thomas to try something different and offer us a change in our fortunes.

Just got for them with an attacking 4:3:3

Wont be like last time were they came off their holidays just before the cup final
Sitting back with long throws in a 5:4:1 is just gonna lead to a 9-1 obliteration

Still want a back 5 for this one?
I think you are referring to my post which where I listed the line-up for Woolwich as 5-1-3-1?
But you failed to mention the rest of that post where I go on to explain Spence/Udogie should be our width when in possession and to consolidate the mid-field when not.

I also posted less than 20 minutes later that I probably should not have listed the starting 11 the way I did, i.e, a back 5.

But I get it! Like all people looking to score points against other posters, you never let the facts get in the way of a good lie
