It doesn't matter wonder kids or not. Yamal coming to us will be loaned out and career wasted. Kane had said it as such, there is no pressure to succeed and win here in our club. The club mentality and culture is shit. The club has no interest in on-field success.

The difference is that Estêvão was considered a world class talent already before joining Chelski, and had played for Brazil A.
And, as I stated before, he cost €34 million, plus €23 million in adds-on, so he'll cost more than Gray. But, sure, at £40m one would expect much more from Gray.
In comparison, Wharton cost £18m (rising to £22m)
Only if the add ons are achieved will he cost more than Gray. Most of those adds will be related to winning the PL and CL multiple times... maybe some on games played... but ultimately you can't say he cost more. Right now he cost 30m. Give me a list of the adds ons and their value and we can figure out when and if he will ever cost more than Gray.

So true.

United parading the Europa around Old Trafford and the surrounding areas must have passed me by.

We definitely buy players so that we aren't successful.

Their "kids" of Chelski are on a different level than those at Spurs from the beginning. Besides, in Chelski's team vs Barca there is only 1 "kid" who's playing and that Estevao who was seen as a top talent before he joined them (played 62 games for Palmeiras and made his debut for Brazil alrea

The 40m for gray is with addons ... Seeing this on bbc and sky.

Tottenham Hotspur's total transfer fee for Archie Gray is reported to be around
£30 million to £40 million, which includes potential add-ons.
The fee details vary slightly depending on the source:
  • Initial/Upfront Fee: The upfront fee is widely reported to be around £30 million.
  • Total Package (with Add-ons): The total potential package, including all add-ons, is estimated to reach up to £40 million. Some sources list the full value as high as €41.25 million.

This is the point that people seem to be missing

I read that Newcastle have recruited better than us but half those players wouldn't be where they are now had they signed for us, our culture and our coaching plan is non existent and we've chopped and changed strategies so often.

Paratici actually wanted Gordon so we were on the right track, but would had he been the player he is now if he played for us?, doubt it...

Try harder. Tell me how many alternatives to the actual first choice players we actually bought.

Tell me how opportunistic we have been in the transfer market more than fixing the shortcomings.

Last I heard winning the Europa was because we fluked it and the rest of the teams were shit, so nothing to do with the desire to succeed according to them.

Yet supposedly if we have, we aren't even playing well at the moment then people said our players are shit.

So funny. Our fans can't even choose one argument and stick to it.

Can't see many add-ons being reached?

I can't talk for others but for me it's clear.

We pay out enough money for us to be doing better than we are, and better for me is that we should not be losing to the likes of Bournemouth or being unable to compete (not necessarily beat), filth and that lot.

The Europa wasn't a fluke, but realistically there were half a dozen teams who had a legitimate chance, with us being one of them.

In my opinion, the best spark or catalyst for success or sustained improvement is a fantastic manager. If not, then it has to be 2 or 3 stand-out players, who arrive at the same time, and are able to take the club forward as one.

Hes still a kid. Most addons will be number of games ill guess and he will come into the team. At England age group level he is a key player, overpaid but hes not a bad player.
The kids we have in Gray, Bergvall, Vuskovic, Moore etc are the least of our concern. It's the senior players letting us down at the moment and you need that stability to bring those prospects through.

Wore Jacky, Alan Shearer, Bobby Robson, Jimmy Fivebellies, Deuterz Deuterz

Your Wankhorn league took one hell of a beating.
