I do not think any of us came up with that 11. Frank has not buckled to wish for attacking team, rightfully for this match and some will be rested for Fulham when we must attack & win. Cannot see anything but a defeat.
 
I hate this club at times, against PSG in the champions league , this should be a fixture we have been looking forward to for weeks, yet after Sunday all I’m thinking about now is hoping we don’t do worse than the 7-2 Bayern home defeat! :ange-hands-head:
 
Peter Crouch looks like he’s waiting to take his place in the queue for the tunnel in The great Escape. Even his jacket looks like it’s been made and dyed from a blanket. I suppose Escape to Victory was out of the question for him.

We have some incredibly overrated players by our fanbase.

Players that are wildly inconsistent or don't deliver anywhere near enough regularly. Porro is hugely overrated at RB for example. He's a suspect defender but he's hardly an attacking output monster either.

Spence offers nothing in attack but is decent at defensive duels.

Udogie is no great shakes, injury prone and flatters to decieve, but we have no other left back.

Kudus is decent but no world beater.

Bentancur is gash.

I won't even bother naming the others.

Some of our kids like Lucas, Gray etc are promising but that is all they are at the moment, no club like us can rely on potential kids and hope to compete in the PL.

We need to actually bring in some signings who actually deliver on the pitch. When was the last time we managed that?

The last two summer windows have been diabolical from that perspective. FLast summer blowing loads of money on kids and Solanke who have done fuck all for us, this summer spent loads more on established players who have done fuck all for us.


Our recruitment is fucking woeful.

Sorry but for me, if this season turns into a shit show, Lange (and Frank) needs to go.
 
I like that we have 2 strikers. Richi hustle and bustle and hopefully a bit more guile in muani. Atleast it shows a willingness to change and hopefully the plan produces a bit more attacking output and threat.
