As usual with this clown-show club we have two parallel crises to handle; recruitment and manager. The team is desperate for quality players. No manager will "do well" with this squad. At the same time we have to change manager if we continue losing, hoping a new manager bounce can save us from relegation. Ideally we pick up a few points in December, Frank gets to stay and by some miracle we sign a couple of game changers in January. It's very easy to see a different scenario playing out though..

Bring back tactics tim sherwood
If we are going down that route, rather Ange. Firstly, that will see the meltdown of some fans. Secondly, the players knew him already and I'm sure they would run through steel walls for him, or at least respect him more than timid Frank. Thirdly our club is a joke, and what's better than to make it even funnier. Fourth, Johnson will score goals again lol.

This all day.

Here’s a spoiler for those who haven’t twigged or refuse to comprehend.

If you haven’t worked out it doesn’t matter who the manager is, you never will. The same problems always remain.
As long as they don't make watching us feel like cruel and unusual punishment....

Ridiculous thread. Knee jerk reaction to individual cock ups of the highest order.
It's really not just about those two goals though, we played awful for almost the entire game apart from maybe a few minutes after the goal from Kudus where we played with a bit more energy.

But yes I can agree that it was very reactionary to create this thread out of frustration and under the influence of alcohol. Not that I really want Frank out that strongly or think that is going to solve many problems, but yesterday it felt inevitable to me that it was going to happen quite soon the way it's going. But Admin Admin can delete this thread unless there is a way I can do it myself.

Its massive investment in the team we need.
Top end teams have 50 to 60 million pound players in every position and a few on the bench.
We are a mid table team with mid table players at the moment.
Even Maddison who would be our shining light was in a team that got relegated.
It is what it is.

You're right.
Which is why I will never, ever understand those people who relentlessly defended the ownership as our squad disintegrated before our eyes

Good grief. People want to talk about the atmosphere around the team, yet the internet is full of people ready to change managers again. We've got the right manager, we've got many of the players who will be here when things turn around, and you heard from the stands in the second half a much louder fan base. This is a conversation to be had at the end of a season, not during one. I don't believe it will be necessary then. Things are going to improve and not that far into the future.
Can I get some of what your smoking???
