Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

They were all quite modest spends relative to other clubs at the time and all quite speculative with regards to either young or league unproven players.

And the strikers that we missed out on that have shown they were worth the money, and that we realistically could have got - still unanswered?

Not having a go but this is what certain posters on here do.

Talk of us under Levy not spending big but cannot or don't name players we could have realistically brought to the club.

One ir two in particular are pathetic in the extreme in that regard.

In my opinion I think the lack of quality in our coaches/managers,have contributed to making some of our purchases look worse than what they are capable of.

We may as well be a retirement home. Levy special. Jokes aside, we are very unlucky in this aspect.
It's got nothing to do with luck, pal.

Vicario and Frank keep talking about luck after every defeat. Same thing, nothing to do with luck.

Our players are just twats who give zero fucks about the club & its fans. They're just here for the paycheck, don't live the life of a pro athlete, they don't like to hurt, soon as the going gets tough they show the big pussies they truly are.

If it happens over and over again I don't think it can just be bad luck.
In Solankes case, he was run ragged by Ange, and was isolated in most games he played without receiving much or if any service.
Maddison got a freak injury because hes injury prone, and you can also say Kulu is in the same category of circumstances as Solanke in the lead up to his injury in my opinion.
Once they return, I seriously doubt they will suffer these injuries again other than Maddison, who seems to receive reoccurring injuries.
But when I said unlucky, I meant us fans, I should have clarified myself more clearly on that.

If you work of hypotheticals in the rear view mirror, it's some kind of lofty position where you can never be wrong.

Solanke probably would have been a machine at Newcastle

Yeah...is it really that surprising that our 2 most dedicated, relentless pressers under Ange who ran themselves into the dirt pretty much every second they were on the pitch have been struck down with long term injuries?

If you keep pushing players, especially those that are willing to give you 100% at the expense of their own bodies, eventually they're gonna break.
