He was right winger for his first four or five seasons with us, including the double season (Terry Dyson was our left winger) before switching to the left later in his career.
These days - not big difference for us whether he is available or not.
Kudos to Frank for not rating Johnson.
Sorry although Cliff and Terry could use both feet Cliff was much stronger with his left and Terry with his right and Cliff played the majority of his games on the left with Terry on the right. Those days did not see right footed wingers on the left to cut in and score with their left foot and vice versa. I can guarantee that about Cliff.
Seems crazy that we were forced to watch him play 90 mins every week last season
Having to go back 60 years to make a point here though.
Look, I'm Welsh. I'm biased, I think Brennan has uses, but those moments should be him coming on against tired legs towards the end of games.
This is a team sport and we look decisively worse as a team when he plays. Our team as it is just isn't good enough for someone who tends to do nothing for 89 minutes who might just pop up with a goal or not.
He's gonna have to work hard to reclaim his spot now, so it's up to him.
I don’t think that working hard is part of his ethos!
Will move on in January maybe back to NF where he will be Dyche’s secret weapon!
