No idea but the fact he was signed late, shows he wasn’t first choice. Surely if he was our primary target, we would have wrapped it up at the start

If it's the ankle surely it's not that hard for someone to come out and say the ligaments are weak the surgery didn't go as planned etc. Also if it is just am injury then atleast occasionally he should be turning up to support his team mates. The club has been saying he’s injured and not ready to return yet. Why do you need a statement?

It's not about me. I think fans that support the club week in week out should be afforded information that affects the club we love. If he could potentially be out for the season then just say that then if he makes it back by January it's a bonus.Hard as it may be to comprehend; you're not the focus here.
Clubs often keep injury/recover info close to their chest and are similarly reluctant to speculate... For many reasons.
You just need to suck it up.
Not unless we've discovered the secret to necromancy.
Agree.. A/ he should be present at all games after all it's work.. B/ the club should clarify his injury status. Is he turning up in the stadium to support the team at all? I think whether it's a personal issue or whether it is the injury the club the player or both should put out some sort of statement and some sort of return date.
You might be right. You probably aren’tSo you were just chatting shit then.
A theme.
Not necessarily. Things often don't work that way.
Players go on holiday.
Selling clubs drag their heels.
Clubs will be pursuing multiple players at a time.

So was Sonny.... and he's got more chance than Dom of playing for us again this year!

Not in his condition!
Well we all knew replacing Kane was impossible but this guy is a massive step down, he's not very skilful at football, would probably have made a good rugby league player.I'd be embarrassed to pick up my wages.
60 mil thrown down the toilet (again). And that was the case even before he got 'injured'.
The guy who played like Freddie Kanoute with a similar goal record but got a free pass for being English and costing a lot
He was a typical West Ham level signing. If they'd bought him nobody would have been the least bit surprised.Well we all knew replacing Kane was impossible but this guy is a massive step down, he's not very skilful at football, would probably have made a good rugby league player.
0,23 goals per match in his Premier League career, and half of his 38 Premier League goals came in one season. Which means he's scored 19 goals in another 1.5 seasons with Liverpool, 1.5 seasons with Bournemouth, and 1 season with us. which I work out to be 123 matches, not including his short playing time this season with us.
It's all on here if anyone else can be arsed to look.
