Personally I think Micky is commited to us but it’s so obvious in his body language he absolutely hates Frank

A fresh start with a new manager and he’ll be fine

Maybe.

I didn't really think it through at the time but the squad needed a proven winner, simply for whoever to be able to look at the more arrogant amongst the group, and to be able to say snap, or I'll see you.

I think that's why United have struggled so much since Ferguson, despite minor success.

The previous manager for us was nothing to shout home about but he brought the squad a trophy, and I think they probably felt as though they merited a 'winner' to take the reins.

The talk that Marmoush will be allowed to leave City this Jan doesn't seem to be going away.....If it's true then we will definitely make an offer. The club were heavily linked while he was at Frankfurt. Imo we won't find a better option for that wide left forward role.

Solanke
Marmoush Simons Akliouche
Palhinha Gallagher
That will do until the summer when we should bring in a new striker and a progressive passer to play in centre mid

He's not going to agree to join us.

It would be an enormous downgrade for him.

I get that the market is insane but paying around 90 mil for a 19 year old that has give or take 30 games in a top flight league first team is pure psychopath behaviour.

But, if it’s €90m and €70m plus €20m (€10 if he plays 200 games, €2m any season he’s fans player of the season) £60.6m over 5years, plus maybe another £17m if he’s monster badass, suddenly doesn’t seem soo outrageous and I bet Leipzig would accept something of that amount.

How good is he, really?

Muani was the same level at Frankfurt then flopped at PSG. DId well at Juve but is hardly pulling up trees in the Prem.

Marmoush got his big move, is he in the PSG phase of Muani's career?

We ain't getting Marmoush and Akliouche comes with serious question marks so we should stay well clear...fuck doing another Ndombele.

Desperately need a striker this window...Solanke & Muani are garbage.

I'd go all out for Locatelli or Wharton for that No 6/DLP spot in the summer. If Spam do go down, I'd love to sign Bowen (Kudus was always the wrong option) but very tricky deal to do...think he'll pick Liverpool, United, even Villa or Newcastle over us. Nico Williams remains my No 1 fave at LW but unless we get Xabi in as head coach, it ain't happening...even if we bring Poch home.

“He (Frank) explained how great the squad is and how great the players are”

Excuse Me What GIF by Bounce

They won't go for Yildiz, too expensive.

Instead they'll probably try & do a deal around the 30-40 mil mark with AC Milan for Saelemaekers. Maybe even send one of ours the other way to lower the asking price.

Or get Brahim Diaz on loan from our special friends Real once he gets back from AFCON.

Someone of the B or C list basically.

Diaz would be a favorite, apparently washes whiter than white.

I'll get my coat........

I'm just being realistic.....of course we all would want a Locatelli or Wharton and Nico Williams but I think other bigger clubs will outbid us

Agree with Bowen, his wife will want him to stay in London but his father in law will never entertain him joining Spurs

Akliouche question marks? Like what , seems like a level headed lad

I think he is levels above what we have which of course is not hard. I can't think of many other wide left forwards who we can get that offer his ability to score and assist.

Muani is a lost cause. He never wanted to come here, turned us down before and clearly wanted to go back to Juve last summer as well.

Mate the premier League teams are full of giants nowadays there are barely any players under 6ft in most teams. It's sad as there is much more to football being a big strong athlete, probably why most premier League matches are like watching paint dry now
N'daye, Fatawu, Frimpong, Dialo, Mcginn, Skelly,Wirtz, that's just off my head honestly don't think it stacks up. None over 5'10 if you have the technical ability and core strength you can. And for the record the player we are talking about Angelo Stiler is six foot tall. It isn't stature its about physicality. Wharton will on occasion get found wanting but under a good coach is well worth accommodating in my opinion so is Stiller. I won't shift on this.

His numbers last season were better than I remember tbh

8 goals, 3 assists, in 20 games.
