Match West Ham (H) 17/01 - 3PM. Here we go again…

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Should be looking forward to this.

Should be a fun day, spanking one of the worst teams to ever “grace” the league.

Should be a chance to get some minutes into some fringe players.

Should be an opportunity to get our new signings on the pitch.

Should be an easy win.

Should be. WILL BE!
Am I the ONLY one looking forward to this?

Tbh in a properly working 4231 the system should be fluid so both players move as and where the play develops.

we’ve been playing 4-2-3-1 most of the season. Palinha and Bentancur was the worst MF pair we’ve had in a long time. Not individually but as a combo, in this system.

Gallagher is a better Bentancur as an 8 or a better Sarr as a 10.

Maybe he’s that much better that it can work. Who knows. I’d prefer Gray or Bergvall in the pivot with him but that’s me.

We should have the ball most of the time with them trying to play on the break. That's why this is a good chance to take a look at Dane. Finishing in the box is his thing, I'm not so sure about Muani -- he probably prefers a more open game.

All this cock and bull about positions, numbers etc, means nothing.

What we need to see/hope for is that Frank has utilised the 7 days since our last home failure to instill some togetherness and on-field cohesion.

If the players don't have the respect for Frank that is their business. They should care about the fans, who are only too willing to genuflect in the face of star quality.

The players need to start showing they are collectively better than words alone, and move towards finding a league position more in keeping with the squad's overall ability, and one that is more befitting of this club.

Get the feeling that anything but a win will make life untenable for Frank. A draw, and the circumstances of that draw, will be greeted with boos. A loss and it'll be deafening.

Weirdly, I think Nuno's last three, including Saturday's match will have been Wolves, Forest and Spurs; lose to us and he's last three PL posts will have all beaten him. And we're all several shades of shite.

What I just posted said similar, looks like hes removed them now

First one said No Xavi tomorrow, being dropped as per your one

Then the second said Palinha injured so Xavi does start
