Well there is saying you can’t put brains in coconut’s and unfortunately we have a pair of coconuts running this shit show ,,fuck knows what the persons above our management are doing all fucking day useless beyond belief,, and we all dissed levy this comedy duo are proper shite

Because spending £150m on players like Strand-Larsen or Mateta — guys who are available and being actively shopped — isn’t the sign of ambition that some think it is.
There were probably two (or three) UCL level players transferred this window:
Semenyo, who had a release clause that was triggered.
Guehi, because the selling club weren’t prepared to let him walk away for nothing in summer.

Connor Gallagher is probably the third rated player transferred this window.

And, yes, I’m disappointed we didn’t buy a senior LB but I sure as hell don’t want Andy Robertson for the next three years and you would be bonkers if you did.

There’s a reason that clubs get to spend six times more in summer than January.

25 years of this bollocks and still giving them the benefit of the doubt :ange-facepalm2:

There’s a reason that clubs get to spend six times more in summer than January. You completely and conveniently ignore the bits that you want to. There’s a phrase for that.

If Destiny could stay fit he’s the answer for me! He’s a brilliant LB just can’t stay injury free

Can we stop with the 100m cash injection being available for player transfers. If you look at the accounts our cash flow position was appalling and we had a huge credit card bill... remember net position on transfers is around 270m... 60m owed to us and 330m owed to other teams. That can can't be kicked down the road for ever... I don't think anyone at the club specifically said it would be spent on players... and surprise surprise, it isn't...

I'm not all about big money buys

I'm a big believer in the right player is the right player, don't care for rep or whatever

And while yes, doesnt seems there are many high profile moves, that doesn't mean we couldn't have strengthened

Especially when the club claim ambition, and the squad is so depleted

That just completely ignores the spend over the last five years or more — most of which has been poorly spent.
It’s not that we don’t’ spend’ on transfers. Our transfer debt was second highest in the league I think.
It’s that we spend poorly and don’t spend enough on wages…. And we haven’t sold enough at the right time (a different conversation).

If you want to talk about results then I’m happy to but then let’s have an honest conversation.

Top bags-man too.

Remember the time we had JD, Keane and berbatov at the club? What a quality trio of strikers

Exactly... Football fans, for the most part, are the most delusional on people on Earth.

We didn't panic buy shit, and load ourselves with a fuck ton more deadwood.
