Can easily see a situation arising whereby we lose a couple more to injury and are having to field unexperienced youngsters whilst being dragged into a relegation battle. What a total mess and joke of a scenario. Most of our injuries are long term also.

Last January;
£12.5m was spent on Kinsky,
£7.3m was spent on Tel's loan fee.

So £19.8m total.

This January;
Johnson out £35m
Gallagher in £34m
Minus £1m spent
Souza in £13m

Total £12m

So none of the announced last October £100m has been spent on strengthening the team. we've actually spent less than last January when there wasn't a cash injection.
It’s clearly been largely used to pay down existing liabilities, making it more likely we get more PSR headroom as many are sold (Richarlison will have been 4 seasons, almost completely paid off summer, maybe £10m left and same book value).

Would be good press for them to say publicly they are going to make what it takes available summer and following two windows, to get us competitive at the top end again. Would be somewhat unbelievable if they actually went through with it, liquidating some other Lewis holdings and bringing it in (buying the women’s team for £100m or such).

Think they could have £200-300m they are willing to invest to bring us up to optimal value for sale, but don’t think they themselves trust the people in place to risk that £200-300m on! Catch22.

We're all living off the the Van De Vart drop on deadline days years ago.

It's time to move on.

Penny should of dropped by now. ENIC will continue talk the talk but will never walk the walk when lt comes to true footballing ambition.

Why worry about that?

I mean no one is going for small money and change is in its way is my gut feeling.

If we stay up, which is statistically more likely than not, this can't happen again. It just can't

Beyond that, who knows.
I worry because how can we attract players to the club if we can't qualify for Europe,
Romero and Mickey will attract big money but can you buy better when they don't spend
Tel - he has something and will improve
Muani - still needs to be replaced

It happen last year - one season at 17th should have been enough.

Mate, I remember this team getting relegated back in 77.
This team is trying to repeat that season, but anyway, it's disappointing to not build on winning a European trophy last season.
It's difficult to see these clowns achieve anything, club needs to be sold.
Well done for sticking around with this lot for so long!

Crises, precipitate change as they say. The only thing we have as supporters is hope, and I hope there is some big change coming our way - because its the same old same old, and we deserve better than this lot in charge. The weak and meek leading the blind.

'Can easily see a situation arising whereby we lose a couple more to injury are having to field umexperienced youngster'

We already are!

Romero might have mistranslated 'disgraceful'.

Desgracia un Spanish means 'unlucky'...I'm guessing that's what he means
