If I was Frank I'd just forget about Man United and Newcastle and focus on winning the Woolwich game. That's probably why I'm not Frank, but it's basically the only thing he can do to leave a legacy.
The Newcastle match is on the 10th, Goons are on the 22nd, so can pretty much go full pelt in both matches, with another 6 days off before Fulham.

It might be sensible to conserve some of our best player's energy vs Manchester United with only two days rest before Newcastle, regarding the injury issue with the squad insomuch play Muani and rest Solanke, play Dragusin, rest Romero etc. Newcastle aren't doing much better than our club in the league, I'd be targeting them for three points specifically with our best players all starting. As I said there's a good rest period after that before the goons.

Semenyo. That was it, it seems.

If youre at a club, trying to pull - its a bit of a numbers game, you go to all the 10's and try your luck. Maybe you get rejected, maybe you get lucky?

Lange doesnt believe in that. He'll study the dancefloor all night like the perpetrator in a sunday evening drama, and decide upon a single 6 he can pull. Get turned down anyway. Go home and crywank.
That's a neat summary. Though you missed the part about him somehow getting himself on a sex offenders' register for trying his luck.

I wouldnt be surprised if Vinai pushes to keep Frank for next season, dependent on our results.

I'm only basing this opinion around the fact that Vinai kept Legoman in the job at Woolwich.

Obviously, if results and performances dont improve drastically, then Frank definitely has to be sacked, but the board have shown themselves to be so inept, that i wouldnt be shocked if Frank gets another season, albeit very unlikely.

I think it would be entirely possible to sack Frank at end of season, and agree with Poch he will join after WC, and announce it before WC, and work on transfers with him having a say. All doable.
So the US his current employers would be happy with that? No he will 100% be concentrating on the World cup. In any case he won nothing last time with a much better team than Ange or Frank.

If we miss out on Europe, I can see the Lewis family pushing Vinai and Frank out.

They are looking to replace Paratici. My guess is that new DOF will be Lewis adjacent more than Vinai’s man. TBH this Rafi Moers guy might end up taking responsibility from Vinai already

I don’t feel like anyone is safe in their job atm

The Lewis family have no choice but to make significant changes unless they want the club to lose value, at the rate we are going.

If what you said does happen, that would be a necessary change in the right direction.

On a side note, If anything needs solving, its the injury crisis the squad and managers have to endure every season. Its relentless.

Seen this posted loads, almost as matter of fact at times, but I dont know how true it is

Arteta was doing a much better job than Frank is, and was playing in empty stadiums when things were bad

I mean, it was easier to show patience both because things weren that bad and the fans werent (able to) publically voice their displeasure.

Ive seen nothing tangible in Franks tenure to suggest progress is being made, the eye test doesnt support things going well, and the fans have booed and told Frank he'll be getting sacked multiple times

I just dont think its comparible, so it cant be that Vinai is thinking "well it worked with Arteta, so Ill do it again now!"

But then I think, well, Vinai is a fucking idiot, so I do have that slight nagging doubt against the above view
