First, how often does he just give up on the pitch/not give 100% from start to finish...like not tracking back, letting his man run past him with ease, not going for 50-50s etc.?

Second, and sorry to burst your bubble...but look at the size of the guy, he's hardly tiny. You get injured that often, especially at that age and with that physique he got, it ain't cause you lack size or are just shit unlucky. It's cause he doesn't live the life and doesn’t put the required work in at training. Period.

Guy been robbing a living from the minute he walked in the building. One of our worst buys.
How did you feel about Sessegnon?

Seems the environment may be an issue at play, like playing him half fit due to woeful squad building.

Sess is a bit different. Got played too much too soon, his slight frame didn't have time to develop and get ready for PL football. That's how Barca ruined Ansu Fati for instance.

Udogie is a physical specimen next to Sess, but one thing Sess had on the Italian was the will. You could tell Sess really, really wanted to play, contribute and that he was genuinely distraught to be out so often. Udogie really looks like he doesn't give two shits. He, Vicario, Bentancur, Romero...ship them all back to Serie A.

Mate, come on. Udogie was a first team player in Italy at 17/18 same as Sess.

Maybe, we’ve played a big part in his issues. Sess got similar peters for not tracking, wimping out of challenges, when like Udogie there was clearly deeper issues at play.

Jay, Ive never heard Udogie doesn't live right in fact Ive heard he's all about that. So not sure what the deal is.

Some players are just more injury prone and not as robust as others.

Bale was a physical specimen, but couldn’t stay fit either.

Not that I'm a medical expert or anything, but seems to me that we bring players back from injury far too quickly and don't give them a proper rehabilitation. I appreciate that it's a case of necessity as we are down to the bare bones, and that's on the board not recruiting smarter.
I think hating on the individual players is unreasonable, as I should imagine that 99% of them want to play. But if they are not feeling fully fit, you can understand why they may play more cautiously.

Because how big you are defines how often you get injured 🤣

Sell asap - this is beyond ridiculous now.
As I have maintained for two years these first team starting players who are constantly injured need to either prove their fitness or be sold, Udogie needs sold.
We need 3/4 full backs in the next year along with a load of other players, squads a joke.

He has been pissing me off for a few games now.
Every time he gets the ball I ain't got a clue what he is gonna do and I don't think he does either.
That should be a good thing but with him it ain't.

Shown some flashes and promise but just not consistent enough. Really don’t know if better coaching can help, and maybe a left flanker ahead of him that’s a more established starter would. Even then, he’s such a Mr Glass that you wonder if he’ll ever be able to last a long enough stretch of games.

Need a longer term alternative for left back, and a left-footed one please.

A player who's out injured as often as Udogie will always struggle to be his best because, 1) he always lacks match-fitness, 2) he'll always have in the back of his mind that he may get injured again...
I'd sell him this summer TW (if there are any takers) simply because of his fitness, or rather lack of it.
