One of the defenders has to step up with the ball or Sarr has commit a midfielder. There’s enough players in that phase to play out. It’s not really to do with players further forward showing for the ball. They are there but they’re going to have a player right up them unless you want them all to start dropping deeper. You need to disrupt the shape of the opposition in the first phase to create space for the players further forward.Whether that’s tactics or not, none of the midfielders are showing for the ball with any conviction, resulting in the backwards pass being the only option.

The point being that they should have gone for a better version of Ange. The Board went for one coaching extreme to another. If Postecoglou was a bit more measured then he might have won more games. If Frank was a bit more adventurous then he might have won more games.
Rodgers is a good manager. More than good. The point being that they should have gone for a better version of Ange.
Liverpool did this by going from Rodgers to Klopp.
What’s nothing to with it?
He’s ok but quite overrated IMO. And Ange’s Celtic was just as dominant as his one.
No argument from me over the decline in league performances last season. He was rank mature, we just consistently regressed under him.
To such a point, that we could barely string 2 passes without giving the ball away.
People forget how shit, and frustrating we really was last season.
So what you saying... I can go after the Franatics now? I don't have to wait until 9.30 pm Tuesday?
Interesting...
Does this confirm Ange is better than Frank now, because for 24 weeks all I've heard fromCJJ is that Frank has more points than Ange at the same stage of the season... its like a broken record... the depths they go to defend the indefensible is ridiculous... que, string of Franatics accusing me of loving Ange

Don't do it...

And these people can't get it in to there heads. What you're missing there is that you're seeing a "Franatic", whereas the argument was "They are both shit - but this shit one is actually not as bad as the very shit one people are still obsessed with"
Try to look at things less 2-dimensionally. That is the problem with the people you're defending, who see Frank the failure as some fucking dumb reason to say we shouldn't have sacked the last fraud
That failed to use Djed and Reg, properly, coz he was such a coward... Then realised he fucked up, when he had to play Djed, coz his shit management finally broke Porro.
That brave manager?
There’s also the message it sent. It’s like going to a curry house and getting a curry with no spicy, you ask them to fix it and they come back after putting a Carolina Reaper in it. Everything about the change from Ange to Frank was bloody stupid.
