Don't do it...

Be the bigger man...

Don't give in to petty impulse...

Goddammit :D
Ange sort of did install a mentality that losing was ok. Sort of. He would tell the players that if they made mistakes, but for the right reason, that was acceptable. Knowing that these mistakes could lead to conceded goals and therefore, lost points. He wanted us to attack at all times and play the difficult pass, not take the easy way. Meant we scored more but conceded more too.

Now? We don’t take risks. We revel in cowardice. We only score Puskas level goals, but very few of them. Concede less at the back though. Seems to me that we are trying to copy that lot along the road by shithousing our way to wins.

No argument from me over the decline in league performances last season.

This doesn’t excuse Frank and in fact makes him look even worse.
Not excusing Frank, I'm just calling out all the BS of those that think Ange didn't need sacking and wishing he was back.

He did, he was fecking awful.

Even during the 10 games unbeaten, the signs were that things were not right... Like the game against a god awful Sheffield Utd, and took till the 110 minute to beat them.

Its all very conviently forgotten.

It’s like going to a curry house and getting a curry with no spicy, you ask them to fix it and they come back after putting a Carolina Reaper in it. Everything about the change from Ange to Frank was bloody stupid.

Years ago now I was with my boss being driven into ipswich for a work meeting. He announced that when we got to the B&B, he'd take us all out for a curry. He seemed very enthusiastic about it, like I should be really excited - but I've never been a curry lover - I just don't like liquid-heavy foods (not a big soup fan or pasta type things tbh).

I was panicking about the whole thing (looking awkward/stupid), but when we got there I decided to try the 'dry' varieties - so went with more of a tandoori tikka chicken type thing. As it happens, it worked out for me and I still like it now so I don't have to worry about eating at or ordering from an indian place. If I didn't like the tandoori tikka, it wouldn't have been monumentally stupid for me to conclude I should have ordered a curry instead.

Long story short - I don't think there's any issue with trying something different so long as you're not reverting to something that has already failed, or clinging onto failure for too long hoping for it to lead somewhere it never will. The latter is where we're heading, but it wouldn't justify the former.

It seem like a lot of people in football were curious as to what Frank would do at a big club. Everything we've seen is perhaps the opposite of what many thought. It is what it is. It may have been a wild over-correction, but I think we have hopefully got a better idea of what would work for us. We'll probably fuck it up again, though.

I assume I wasn’t the only one to not have “curry based analogy” on my Ange v Frank bingo card?

I think they genuinely want us to go down and they know sticking with Frank makes that more likely to happen …..

Oh definitely among that chattering journalist sect they definitely want us to go down.

That would be as good as our epitaph. For eternity we’d be reminded of it like how we never stopped hearing about winning a trophy as if Villa, Newcastle, Forest, Brighton didn’t win one at least twice long as us and been demoted.

For now us fans need to get 💯 behind the players,(haters gonna hate can’t do anything about those fans) there’ll be enough time dispute agenda.

Trix on SC has said he's been told Frank might not get the season after all, and he needs to get something against Newcastle.

I find it truly remarkable how the board and Vinai have let this season play out.

It was clear 4 months ago that Frank was a disaster. They have had ample opportunity to sack him, yet haven't. Even now when we are in a relegation battle, they are still giving him one more game.

The reality is Frank should be gone regardless but we have to win on Tuesday, a draw at home to Newcastle shouldn't be enough for him to keep his job. A loss is unthinkable.

Yes, other managerial candidates don't want to come in mid season, fine. Then install a caretaker. Give someone a job, pay then well and say prove yourself into the summer, you might get the job if you do well.

What you don't do is sit on your hands and let the club freefall into the championship.

They are a disgrace.

Honestly for me, Vinai and Lange should be gone in the summer. The way Vinai has handled this season has been a disgrace. Passive weak pathetic excuse of a CEO.

Makes sense... Gives them nearly two weeks to find a whole new coaching team...

But I doubt it will happen.
Vinai won't sack Frank before the Woolwich game. He'll want to make sure Woolwich win that game and keeping Frank is his best chance.

Vinai's biggest achievement is hiring arteta for Woolwich and sticking with him during his bad spell. That's the first thing on his CV. He needs Arteta to win the league for Woolwich. That'll boost his reputation more and make sure he lands another CEO job somewhere else on crazy wages. He knows hes already failed at spurs and on borrowed time himself. Vinai probably watches every Woolwich game with his Woolwich jersey on. He also likely tipped Woolwich off about the Eze and Hincaipe deals being in the final stages with all the terms, so they could hijack us.

We're in the worst hands you can imagine right now. You thought Levy was bad? Wait until you see what came after him. We removed the only Spurs fans in the board and have a gooner fan running the show now.

We do have an ex manager on the bench in Heitinga. More experience than Ryan Mason ever had.
They are scared to reprimand Romero, scared to sack Frank. Where’s Daniel.

I stopped reading after you took something that “Trix” said seriously.
