No Levy, all of his old players are gone, he's up for it, we're not going to attract somebody who is dramatically more qualified, it feels like this has to happen eventually, let's just do it.

Not sure what we do in the interim.

Hmmmm doesn’t feel a coincidence that this is released now does it?!
It crossed my mind, but to be fair I think these kinds of things are booked further in advance and it's just coincidence.

Bearing in mind Poch is the manager of one of the host nations for the World Cup, I'd expect to see him doing plenty of interviews between now and then.

Funnily enough I'd be more suspicious of something being agreed behind closed doors if he was cagier about commenting on Spurs. At the moment he seems happy to gush over the idea of rejoining.

Vinai and Lange probably resisting because he’d instantly have more power than them

Fair point. Got to wonder if they'll be between a rock and a hard place, because Poch is very much the 'break glass in case of mutinous fanbase' option, but as you say he'd have a lot more soft power at the club than your usual head coach.

1. Alonso
2. Tuchel
3. Poch

Throw money at those three and get one signed on a pre-contract right now. Tell them they have £200m for 3 players of their choosing in the summer window.

I think it takes just a call from the club and he will be back right away after the WC. He's trying so hard to sell his love for us almost every year.

I suppose he would have learnt after all these years to lead us better. Right?

It’s a done deal. Heitinga till the summer and then the return of Poch
