So you did think it made sense..... So you now claiming that it was a terrible idea to appoint him, is, Infact, very revisionist, which is what I said.

You berk.

I think the people who make the decisions made a mistake in appointing him. That's fairly obvious. They're paid millions to get these big decisions right.

I was happy with any managerial change after Ange but how fuck they decided he had the charisma/skills to make the step up is anyone's guess.

It's not hard to understand.

That's a rational take, a different argument though. But to act like it was a left field hire that was universally disliked was not.

I was annoyed by it, I didn't expect much, a 8th-13th finish, but never in any sort of danger, unlike some of the derangers who thought we'd challenge the top 4. My expectations were low, but holy fuck. I got the rationale of it, but it was evident after like a month that we were ridiculously lucky in every game (city and Burnely aside), and very audibly said this was going to be a disaster unless he was sacked. How the club didn't see, and address that is absolutely ludicrous.

Predicting we're gonna lose tomorrow by starting awful yet again but showing some sort of spirit for about 10 minutes in the second half, we will only lose by one goal and it will therefore be enough for the board to stick with Frank. We're really getting the worst of the worst, we're not getting a lot of points but we're getting enough excuses for the board to not do anything about the situation.

Why is there still some people voting Frank in? 2 wins in 16. That’s the only stat needed. A home win against Brentford and a terrible 1-0 away win to Palace in 16 games.
Just getting rid of him will lift everyone.
Apparently we have only one ex professional footballer in our entire first team manager coaches. That is the Dutch guy. Not one has played to any decent level as far as I know. Shocking’! Add in Lange who never played the game. Hdf do these people get to work for £4B top
Professional football club. I might be wrong but that is what Ferg said on spurs five earlier.

If that happens again for the millionth time this season he needs to be sacked at FT.

That's a fantastic article. Agree with 100% of it.

It's not really hypocrisy as such, but he way shadenfraude works in the press.

There's nothing really to tear down about frank, because most of the press seem to be gooners who only really gang up on our managers when there's some joy in it for them.

Frank has never really got going, never really build up a big hope.

We made the Potter Chelsea mistake. Hired a manager who was made to look far far better than he actually is, by the club and set up around him.

As soon as we took Frank out of that environment he has been horribly exposed. Frank has categorically shown he isn’t a good manager, not at a big club anyway. And personally I think if you put him in an Everton or a Brighton, he’d take them to the bottom half / relegation.

We should never hire managers from well set up clubs like Brighton and Brentford.

The set piece coach who replaced Frank has actually done a better job whilst losing his best players which shows what a fraud Frank really is. Frank was actually holding Brentford back and our club decided to make this man our new manager. What a disaster
Surely the board and esp vinai must be looking at that and having nightmares. The cone man with lesser squad than Frank had or has now is 10 points above us.

I think the reporter said all Premier League players since Romero arrived at the club, not just out of Spurs players. I don't know why Frank would have been expected to know that?

For a few years so must have known about Romero. Also I though with all the data analysis and details franks likes to get into he’d know everything about his players. Surely him and coaching team would know about Romero lack of discipline at times. I’d be amazed he didn’t know and he doesn’t have a dossier on each of his players to identify weaknesses. For someone being paid £8M / yr it’s his job to know this and work on it so said player doesn’t keep making same mistakes. Total BS!

I'm saying Frank isn't expected to know every players red card count in the Premier League is he? I don't see what that has to do with managing THFC,

Sure he should know Romero's total, but really every other player in the league since Romero signed for the club. I doubt Frank is contractually obliged to know that, and I doubt other managers know the red card tally of all players for any given period in the Premier League.

There's a lot to be unhappy with Frank about, this however is IMO ridiculous.

I’m on about Romero’s red cards

I’m on about Romero’s red cards
Okay this is the last time I'm going to explain.

What Frank said that he didn't know in that press conference clip posted on the X platform, is Romero had the most red cards out of all players in the entire Premier League since he signed for the club.

My point is, why should he be expected to know all that?

I have seen some bad Frank press conferences but today’s was the worst ! He looks totally drained, exhausted , depressed and the chances of him motivating our battered and depleted squad and get us out of trouble seems remote. He has to go before it’s too late. Of course he has been dealt a weak deck by our pathetic board but it is what it is and he needs to go after the almost inevitable Newcastle loss.
It’s all very well saying Poch will sort it out next season but will he still come back when we are in the Championship?
