Offer De Zerbi a big lump sum to manage the rest of the season and avoid relegation. I think he would atleast light a fire under these players and get 5% more from them.

I like De Zerbi and think under the right circumstances he'd be a good manager for us, however he has shown he's not the man to bring in when in a crisis.

We need someone who's going to get the players and fans on board very quickly (as Carrick has done at United), and I honestly don't know who that is at the moment.

We need to get someone in who’s a tough bastard that takes no shit from any player or a name that every player sits up and hangs off his every word. I don’t care if that’s Di Zerbi because whatever he’s done that will split our fanbase I’d take him over Frank any day of the week. I’d have Fred West before Frank.
Or go get Xavi Hernandez today and tell him if we went down he is free to go. I’d guarantee that he’d get this place acting like a big club and players would play the game the way it should be played.
Throw him the project he said he wants. We are still in the champions league which is still a pull for managers.

Or just sack him and let the players take it!!! They’d go and play free and try win a game rather than try not lose!

Indeed id take Ronald McDonald over Frank right now.

Least he'd bring some joy and decent food with him

I think the fans and players would respond well to De Zerbi coming in and trying to play more attacking football. We haven't got the squad for it, but his system will get more out of Romero and Porros passing ability, VDVs pace and Xavi Simons technical quality.

The way I see it is that we haven't really got any other option. Get De Zerbi in now, accept that the squad is fucked for the Woolwich game but the week on the training pitch is huge, aim for 4-5 points from the subsequent games, after international break against Sunderland he'll have had almost 2 months on the training pitch and players returning for the final stretch.

Honestly just sacking Frank will give the club a boost.

Can't be an interim - players need to get a lightning bolt in their arse and an interim cant command that kind of respect

Someone to come in and make our young squad grow into something over next season, where we will have one game a week

At least the buffoons in charge made the decision right after the match so the next guy has ~11 days to prepare for Woolwich. I have zero confidence that they have anyone decent lined up to replace him or that anyone can even turn us around with all the injuries and current club morale.

Lots of people going to be in for a rude awakening when we play like shit against Woolwich.

It's 100% an interim.

No chance we bring in a manager full time when Poch is free in the summer. Whether or not he's the "right" manager is irrelevant to ENIC because he is probably the only person who can take the heat off of them and begin to repair the relationship between the club and fans.
