I don't mean that at all.

But he had a young Kane, prime Eriksen, Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Danny Rose already very solid experienced players.

Moura, Alli and Son did develop well under him though.

I rate him, but I just think many other managers cop too much on here, when in reality the issue has always been above them.
Kane had looked like a well meaning and relatively useful donkey prior to Poch joining, nothing indicated he would become an absolutely elite striker, Eriksen had been around for a year and was "much of a muchness" to use Tim Sherwood's assessment of the entire squad whilst he was caretaking, Vertonghen was included in that assessment but had barely looked better than Chiriches as a defender and also looked totally checked out, Danny Rose was not highly regarded at all, and had looked calamitous, he and Kyle Walker both had some the raw makings of decent fullbacks but came on leaps and bounds under Poch.

Main point being, the squad that Poch took over wasn't that highly rated by anybody, he turned it into one where the starting XI was considered top class by most.

That's not to glaze Poch too much, it could have just been lightning in a bottle, a confluence of fortunate events and timing, but he absolutely didn't start off with a great squad.

My problem with Frank is when he stumbled upon a winning formula he changed it in the very next match, not remembering how good or bad certain players were.

The other factor is Spurs get normal refereeing in Europe (hence the Europa cup win and prsently in knockouts of Champs' League), and get the worse refereeing in the whole English League as if Woolwich were in charge of the officials.

Most players booked than any team, most red cards, zero penalties despite many good claims. That shows a clear bias against Tottenham and Frank should have at least addressed that.

Spurs fans never talk about it either but are fooled by the Spurs-hating/Gooner-loving media cover-up!
