Harry just on SSN saying he would do it to end of season

Yeah, but there was a 6 month gap where any momentum we built up was lost.

We then did the Spurs standard transfer..

Young...yes
One recent good season...yes
Bargain price compared to proper player....yes
Fits into our system.....don't be silly

Last one doesn't matter anyway

We should have actually signed his replacement in 2018, he was flagging from the end of 2017'/18 and he came back from the World Cup clearly unfit and started to pick up injuries.

RDZ feels like throwing petrol on a fire.

He would hate it at Spurs. The board would let him down in the summer and he'd already be itching to smash the place up.

He feels like Conte Mark 2, without the glittering CV to justify hiring him.

I just feel like Poch isn't the guy. I loved him when he was here but I really don't see him coming back and succeeding. I didn't really watch much of Chelsea when he was there but I don't remember them playing all that spectacular football. Even team USA look pretty awful. I get its the manager that we all know but I just don't have a good feeling. The club is just in a terrible spot right now

"They"...?
Redknapp seems to fancy it so let’s get him back, perfect man to lift their confidence and get us the 4 wins we probably need from the 12.

Pochettino in the summer, let him rebuild how he wants
Harry always refers to us as "they" (even when he was here I think)
...Poch, is still "We"... even from America!

There's yer difference!

Just get Harry Redknapp in as interim manager for feel good factor along with Heitinga and whoever else they fancy to help support coaching until the end of the season. What if Jesus Perez came in to support also? If it is indeed true the board want Poch then just get the ball rolling now.

Yeah fair, those are legit concerns. And if we were a decent team with high aspirations I'd be far more inclined to aim higher (I've long been anti-Poch II). The thing is we're an actively BAD team at the moment, hence I think someone like Poch might actually be a better fit for the kind of intangible 'knows the club', 'charisma', 'man management' stuff. A bit like Moyes, a manager we'd all turn our noses up at going into Everton, saving them from relegation and getting them back to 8th and in the hunt for Europe.
I think he’s perfect for RIGHT NOW but in the summer when building a new project? I’m not a fan of that
