Would be a strange appointment for the position we’re in.

He’s an interesting manager and, in principle, I’m a big fan of increasing the number of Germans at the club.

But, bit random.
Used to coach Xavi at Leipzig. If we are looking for a link.

But he's a good coach. Did well with Leipzig, okay at Dortmund and at Gladbach until Dortmund poached him.

Poch would have overwhelming support.

Im assuming the people (like myself) who aren’t voting Poch in this poll are largely doing it out of the whole “don’t go back to your ex” mentality.
Sometimes you have to give people what they want for them to understand it isn't what they need. Hire Ponch. Get it over with and in two seasons we can hire someone better after the same people that wanted him are saying he has to go.

The thing is, ultimately, Poch never failed with us. We had a Champion League final hangover which caused a bad patch at the beginning of the next season, which I'm sure we would have got through had we give him the time - if there was ever a manager to give time to, it was Poch then. I think he's got to be given a another stab just for that. And despite what people will say, we have plenty of top talent at the club for Poch to do something with.
