Who the fuck is Igor Tudor?
All I know is it was reported Paratici wanted to sack Frank and replace him with Tudor a couple of months ago

Would it surprise you the hear the club have dusted off the post its in his abandoned office to get a list of potential managers?

Because it wouldnt surprise me :frankfacepalm:

Its more believable than them actually doing they job properly and with due dilligence

Igor Tudor has perfect track record as interim manager

Udinese (April 2018): Successfully saved the club from relegation in just 4 games.

Hellas Verona (September 2021): Replaced Eusebio after only three matches. He transformed a struggling side& finishing a good 9th in Serie A.

Juventus (March 2025): Replaced Thiago Motta mid-season to salvage a top-four CL finish.

Lazio (March 2024): Replaced Sarri . He stabilized the defense and finished with 1.91 points-per-game (PPG) average over 11 matches- narrowly missed out on the top six.

But knowing us, that would end up with him getting a 3-4 year contract.
What's he like in those situations?

Just typed in Terzic into YouTube and the first video that came up was one of those Masterclass things Frank did - almost gave me PTSD.

Decent talker, more likeable and charismatic than Frank (naturally). Remember he was often described as a very passionate, emotional manager, for better or worse, at Dortmund and thst comes across.

Seems there was some whole culture war over Terzic in the Dortmund fan-base so sounds like he'll fit right in. Definitely sounds more defensively minded than Rose. Fans say he was great in cups but iffy in the league, especially as time went on. Can set up a great defence but struggles to break teams down and attacking can be stodgy. Better without the ball, great in transition but struggles with in-game changes.

Sounds like a better version of Frank tbh. They seem to all love him as a bloke though. Seems like a super passionate die-hard fan they really related to. But he did fall out with some of their legends.

Sounds like he could be a messy appointment but certainty better than Frank.

I dunno why, but I think he looks like a secret serial killer.
I can't put my finger on why.

So in November Paratici said get rid of Frank and bring in Tudor. We said no leading to Paratici going back to Italy and us keeping Frank. 4 months later Paratici gone, Franks taken us into a relegation battle and been sacked now we're appointing the bloke Paratici wanted back in November. The cunts at the top haven't got a fucking clue
Either they are shit in their job or are scared of taking responsibility in suggesting any other names. Or both. So many choices and they went back to the one drafted by Paratici.

I mean, depending on how you present it, them going "Oh he was right" isn't necessarily bad.

That it took this long to come to the conclusion that Frank must go is obviously.

Him being totally new to the English game is what worries me though.
Think we make too much of that. Dyche has been shit at Forest, Frank's been shit with us - 2 "PL experienced" managers everyone though would be solid both shitting the bed.

Meanwhile wolves hired Vitor Pereira last season - some journeyman - and he went on a winning run to get them out of trouble. Palace got Glasner the year before and he smashed it.

I think as long as the manager is a good motivator and the players believe in his ideas that's far more important than whether they know English football.

I casually follow BvB. Terzic got good results with them, won a trophy (in his previous spell), and came within a game of winning the league. Also obviously got them to a UCL final.

The biggest gripe the fans had with him was not playing muh attacking football, but he consistently got results. Left because he fell out with some of the players, most notably Hummels, and the club sided with the players. Turned out to be disastrous for them because Sahin was sacked halfway through the following season.

We’re going down. It’s the exact shambles I was afraid of. They have no fucking clue who they want or what they’re doing. There is no plan.

I wasn't every under the illusion Paratici was some kinda Guru.
This was the guy that tried to give Gatusu a job and hired Nuno.
If Tudor was one of his choices, I'd treat it with a lot of trepidation.

I think the damage done by the way theyve overseen this season is going to take a while to undo, and it starts with how they handle this week

I wasnt being flippant, I can absolutely believe they just went "Who was that guy we ignored Paratici about?" - and just how damning is that?

Tudor is shit and plays shit football. Doesn’t suit the players we have available until the end of the season. Rose is the better match, suits the current limited squad better, plays better football, knows Xavi Simons already.

We’re going down with Tudor.
