Think we make too much of that. Dyche has been shit at Forest, Frank's been shit with us - 2 "PL experienced" managers everyone though would be solid both shitting the bed.

Meanwhile wolves hired Vitor Pereira last season - some journeyman - and he went on a winning run to get them out of trouble. Palace got Glasner the year before and he smashed it.

I think as long as the manager is a good motivator and the players believe in his ideas that's far more important than whether they know English football.
Dyche has had 6 wins and 4 draws for 22 points from 18 games. 1.22 ppg over those 18 games. But.....
In their last 6, they only lost once. Beat WHU (rival) Beat Brentford (rival) Drew with Palace (Rival) unbelievably unlucky not to win Vs Wolves. 9 points from 6 was 1.5 ppg.
I think they could well be OUR saviour by sacking him.
Pererra is a journeyman who has had 14 jobs in just over 20 years.
Had an OK run to pull clear with Wolves but didn't win a single one of his remaining 14 games after they were safe.
I reckon he could help take Forest down and that benefits us.

Seems like Di Marzio is correct,

It would be odd to go that strong without having a pretty good indication you’re correct

Wait, Tudor or Rose?

Let’s sign them both as a coaching team and end the war of the roses

Edit for those missing the reference:

The Tudor rose (also known as the Union rose) is a highly significant heraldic emblem in English history and culture. It serves as the traditional floral symbol of England and represents unity, peace, and reconciliation after a period of intense civil conflict.

Tudor is known for playing attacking football.

He actually did a great job at Marseille, had them had them punching above their weight with a really average ageing squad (Payet, Sanchez etc.). Comes across like a good guy guy too.

No idea about his Juventus stint so cant comment there, but they've seen a lot of managers fail since Allegri's success. On a short term deal that's a good choice, IMO
In a nutshell he did a really solid job as interim then was total shit this season after they extended his contract (zero wins in 8 before being sacked).

It's gonna be the worse kept secret that Poch is coming back post WC.

How motivated are the lads to play to the end and keep us up, knowing that's the direction, I don't know how.

Honestly might as well give it to Sherwood, he knows his place, knows the club, has some sort of experience of the league, can speak, then announce Poch now, everybody is transparent, we play without pressure. Who knows Sherwood might even give us an unforgettable CL journey.

This might be your finest moment as a poster.

So in November Paratici said get rid of Frank and bring in Tudor. We said no leading to Paratici going back to Italy and us keeping Frank. 4 months later Paratici gone, Franks taken us into a relegation battle and been sacked now we're appointing the bloke Paratici wanted back in November. The cunts at the top haven't got a fucking clue

A bit more info on Igor Tudor…

His player style is intense and physically demanding style built around a back three system, usually a 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2. His sides rely heavily on wing-backs for width and attacking play.

A key feature of Tudor’s approach is aggressive man to man pressing. Players mark opponents tightly across the pitch, aiming to disrupt build-up and force turnovers. This creates frequent duels and requires high physical and tactical discipline.

In possession, Tudor prioritises directness over control. His teams move the ball forward quickly after regaining it, often attacking within a few passes. The back three spread wide in build-up while midfielders support vertical progression. In the final third, inside forwards operate in half-spaces behind a central striker, who may act as a target man or pressing forward.

Defensively, Tudor uses a high line to compress space, making matches compact and intense. However, this can leave space behind the defence, particularly against quick or well-structured positional sides.

His tactical profile is often compared to Gian Piero Gasperini and Antonio Conte, although Tudor’s football is typically more direct and chaotic.
