Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Woolwich Sunday 22nd Feb 16:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Did Woolwich actually draw last night or did I dream it? I’ve just watched Sky News for about 90 mins and not even a mention.

If that was us losing a two goal lead to a 95th min own goal against the bottom team they would be showing it every 10 mins and laughing about being Spursy and Dr Tottenham. Now it’s a day of mourning.

This is why they are hated so much. They can still win 4 trophies. PL still in their hands are they're all on social media saying it's over, we've bottled it, players are'nt good enough, Arteta out... they are the most ridiculous fanbase I've ever known.

They actually drew, yes... But make no mistake, given the circumstances of how it came about: 2-0 up, against THE worst team in the League (the league doesn't lie, remember), the last minute equaliser, from a debutant, which was also an o.g. from one of their most reliable players...
this will feel like a defeat, and the worst kind!

Spin it on its head, imagine the Arse had found themselves 0-2 DOWN and they scored 2 late goals to Equalise... That would be the hallmark of Champions apparently!!!

Have to make as horrible and intimidating outside and inside the stadium for them.
Last nights result should get everyone up for it including the new manager in.
Bet Woolwich massive are dreading it now.

Not sure if last night’s result helps or hinders. Could they have underestimated Wolves and held back for our match? The Poch team frequently beat top opposition only to drop points to those in relegation slots. Also could this make them even more determined to not slip up against us.

We are the underdogs and the hope is the new Manager will have had time to set them up to get something out of the match against the odds. We will need everything to go in our favour such as a shot going in rather than hitting the post although we cannot expect anything from the Ref or VAR. The fans need to keep faith if we go behind and remember in the NLD the team scoring first frequently does not win. If we do score first we must carry on attacking and not try & defend the lead.

It will definitely help, primarily because given how both teams had been playing (maybe not playing specifically, but certainly in terms of the results) we had next to zero chance of getting anything from this game (actual zero if Frank was still here). Now the club, the team, the fans all feel slightly more confident, and that can only be a good thing as the mood around the club was nadir levels
