Selection is going to be interesting, I don't know much about Tudor.

Is he wedded to his wingback system?

For so long we wanted managers to have tactical flexibility. We thought Frank would bring that but he was too scared of his own shadow.

If Tudor likes wingbacks then I'd favour Souza. The natural left footer providing width is so important in a wingback system. I just don't think he'll cope against Saka or Madueke. He got skinned a few times by Amad when he came on against United. If VDV is there to cover then it might be OK but I think Tudor will go for Spence. It'll just nullify any threat coming from our left side.

I cant say if he likes his wingbacks or wide players in general, but if he's wedded to that then were pretty fucked, not that he has much to choose from centrally.

I've tried to avoid posting much about Spurs of late because I've lost a shit-load of belief in us and, as a usually 'let's-fucking-'ave-'em' sort of poster on match days, I don't want to come across as relentlessly negative.

I hope we can push on from here. Given our insane injuries, the players' poor performances for a very extended period and Tudor's lack of experience in the prem, I'm still not at all hopeful. But maybe the players will show up for us and prove that they do have the quality he's certain they possess?

Not a fan of Igor when he was linked if I'm honest, but his aura is undeniably strong. Just a change in manager with a concrete belief in playing and winning has totally changed the vibe around the club, players and fans. We will never ever get this from Frank. He's too small time for a club our size no matter how he tries to dress it up. His demeanour is not going to lie.

See how the stadium will be rocking today and players buzzing to play. A NLD win will be tremendous.

It's funny, because I was talking to a mate in the pub about the injury situation at Spurs, and wondered if the sicknotes get full pay for the duration. If long-term sick I get 13 weeks full pay, then my wages are reduced incrementally, depending on the circumstances of my absence. Mind you the culture around elite football is light years away from the every day reality that most of us experience.
The players get appearance bonuses & win bonuses which are obviously missing if injured. I think the Managers are being nice by substituting players on in extra time as they get a bonus for it.

Every club he has previously managed says so, fuck me were still mired in that fudging cesspool. But laugh it up fuckwit.
The Celtic support came on here the day he signed and told us we would have a spike in muscular and hamstring injuries. We stuck our fingers in our ears like the Ange bots and screamed its not true!!! He also said the effects of the poor conditioning of the players meant it lasted 15 months. So either the bloke was just incredibly lucky with that shout or there is more to it than the Australian glee club want to face.
