No, but I hoped it might mean our new twenty million quid left back might get in on the left ahead of Spence who's been shite there all season. Especially when we're playing three at the back and VDV can help him cover the left.

Spence can then play in his natural position.

Gray can play in the middle.

More firepower could be deployed up front.

Honestly go out to attack with players in their right positions and I think we'd be a fuck ton better off than we are at the moment.
