Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Woolwich Sunday 22nd Feb 16:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nobody played individually well today ( although Kolo had his moments) and as usual lately neither did they play well as a team.
I think we’ll stay up but come the end of the season there needs to be a big clear out both on the field and up top. A couple of small changes won’t cut it, we’re past that; big things need to happen.

“Of course, a knock-on effect of the increased fixture schedule is also that not only us, but a number of clubs would say that they have too many injuries. That meant that there were simply not many available players across the whole marketplace during January.”

He was then asked how Tottenham’s mounting injury list altered planning during the window and whether it forced a rethink behind the scenes.

Lange explained: “Yeah, of course, when we go into January, we did not anticipate that we would have seven injuries during the month of January.

“So, that of course changes things during the course of the window. It is very important, even though that is highly frustrating with all the injuries, to remain disciplined because, A, the players are coming back and, B, if you then go in and make a stress purchase of any football players, then yes, the immediate feeling it gives you is nice, but there is no point in signing players that have not helped us in the short term, in the medium term, or even in the long term.

“So, even though that is highly frustrating with all the injuries, the majority of the players will return this season, hopefully a few very soon. It is important as a club to remain disciplined and make sure we do our best, to our ability, to sign players that can genuinely help the team now or in the future.”

When we get relegated I look forward to ramming these words so far down Lange's throat he chokes.
How this guy and Vinai are still in a job baffles me.

I'd say they are faking injuries to be honest. Solanke to be out today pretty much with a sore throat is pathetic in the situation we are in. Everything at the club is a shambles everything. You can see us going down to top it off because it's that much of a mess
Yeah I agree, none of them have the minerals for the challenge.

They are hiding in the physio room.

I’m sure Tudor told us he was attacking minded

I’m mean we aren’t playing for a draw here
The way we started the game didn’t look like we were going to press high and be on front foot. We just let them
Play. Set the tone for the game. Check the 2nd goal. Goalie to FB unmarked in loads of space. Takes a few touches and finds one of two goon on edge of our pen box unmarked, one of them takes a touch and then wallops it in. Great finish but too easy to get the ball to him. We struggled all over the pitch to either keep the ball or win the ball back.

I think, deep down, we all knew this game had come to soon to see the full impact of what Tudor will bring to the table. Having said that, we were, worryingly, very poor today. There seemed to be be more intent in the early stages, but it was 'running around with our hair on fire' intent, and Woolwich just played around all the helter shelter.

I don't believe we will be relegated, but if the next 5 matches don't have us out of sight of the drop, we could be in big trouble.

I genuinely thought the away match would be as bad as it ever gets as a Spurs fan.

Then it happened AGAIN – in our own back yard.

Eze scores AGAIN to rub more salt in the wounds. We even made that useless fucker Gyokores look head and shoulders above anything we've got.

Make this season stop. Please. Ah fuck, we still have to go to Stamford Bridge don't we.

Just need balance for starters. Gray shouldn't be played at rb and spence at LB. Thats a basic foundation. Vicario needs to stop sucking himself further back into the goal from a corner. He needs to toughen up once in a while take pressure away from defenders by catching from a corner. Passing needs major work and attacking patterns of play. Dragusin meanwhile needs a break. Preferably till the end of season.

Tudor has a full week to train players next week. Ample time to get his ideas across.

It's shame about who he's trying to put his ideas across to though
